After 7 of the craziest, most wonderful years of my life, 3 albums(1 never released), a thousand shows, and a reality t.v.show, I have decided to take a vacation from Whitestarr. We are all still best friends and almost-lovers and we dont want anybody to think that any turmoil inside the band lead to this...I just feel it is time for a break. I feel like Whitestarr has left it's mark on the fabric of rock n' roll whether people like it or not and I don't want people to panic...WHITESTARR will be back. I do however feel that over the years everything surrounding this band has sadly overshadowed the music I poured my heart and soul into. The party was good...but the music was better. Not the other way around. And if you don't think so you weren't listening. I was never in this to be a rock star...I am a musician and I was born to create and record and play. Thats what I do. Thats what i will still do.
I have been through many, many line ups with this band and I would like to say thanks to all of you who ever played even a tambourine with us...you are all priceless. I would also like to say thanks to all of the die hard fans out there who didnt give a fuck about anything but the music and stuck with us through thick and thin. WHITESTARR will be back!!!! But as a songwriter and a producer I have always been all over the board taking influences from anything and everything that sparks my interest. I have been producing and writing music for 10 years now and as many of you know if I'm not working or playing with the starr I'm in the studio with a ton of different artists. Heres what I got going on...

I am about to start work on MICKEY AVALON's second record and weve already cut a few tracks recently that look like lead off singles. They just shot the video for the second single off the first album, a track I produced and co-wrote with my boy called "Mr. Right." It's gonna be sick!!

today is a beautiful day in malibu the sunshine is heavy and the life is light. we have just signed off on the artwork for FILLITH TILLITH and it is a very handsome cd indeed! truely tillith! the boys are doing well and we are all very excited to head back to COLUMBUS, OHIO(a grand old party town) and open up for WOLFMOTHER!! We've been wanting to be paired up with them for a while now and "if u dream than things come true" as some old lady once said to some little fairy type waif from a little mountain town somewhere left of eden. Columbus, Oh High Yo

Columbus is a great little town with a lot of little college kids runnin' 'round. There are also a lot of real rock n' roll fans in the area as was evidenced by the amazing crowd we played for this past Saturday at Rock on the Range at Crew Stadium. I almost forgot what it was like to dance for 10,000 plus people. Pure lunacy.

The good news is that you can all expect a lot more big shows from Whitestarr in the very near future. I can't give away details but big people have big plans for us. This includes a summer tour or two and a TV show on the hugely popular VH1 network........ but if you're a real fan, you knew that already.

I just wanted to give a shout out to OHIO and the midwest for being unpretentious and appreciative peoples who just wanna PARTY AND HAVE GOOD TIME, kinda like us.

Well, we finished drums and bass today and all that is left to do is one more day of guitar overdub gliter love and we are done wit the record. We all are pretty damn exited about this one. This weekend was a wild one and a funny one too. We went to the Sidekick 3 party on Friday to celebrate high tech communication with a bunch of other young Hollywood party animalistas. I took a prom picture with our publicist Miss Press Re-Lisa. I had whipped cream on my nipples and a mustache made of cool whip too. Everyone was drinking and socializing but I didn't know where Cisco was for a while. A little later I was lying down on a bean chair next to a beautiful blonde who looked a little like Ann Coulter (not that Ann Coulter is beautiful), when I was attacked by an aerial bombardment of cold beer. I had found Cisco, or rather, Cisco found me! I promptly retaliated with a glass of whiskey to Cisco's sternum which only drove him to get additional ammo and spray down my chest and my immediate surroundings. What part of party don't you understand?

Then we went to Teddy's for the after-party. What part of after party don't you understand? I had to literally escape the clutches of two bouncers just to get into the damn place. Everyone else made it in except me somehow. Thats cool though, I met a lot of really nice B-Listers in the lobby. AHHHHHHHHHHH. I guess I'm just a b-lister too. Speaking of B-lister, I think I got a blister on my.............
