Good day to you! We're over the moon that Caitlin made it here on the red eye and we'll put her to work shortly. Hope you can make it out to one of our CMJ shows. There's tomorrow-- Wed 21st at 9:00 p.m. at the Charleston, and Sat. 24th 12-6 (but we go on at 3:55 sharp!) at Bruar Falls with a shit ton of bands and bbq and bloody marys and Etsy crafts and all sort of goodness. But we also recommend free pizza at the Charleston. Come out! xo the Roulettes

We can't wait to see you tonight at Santos, and to hear the delectable I'm in You and Jump into the Gospel, and to party till we puke if Andrew W.K. shows up. Hearts and stars, the Roulettes

We love summer like nobody's business, but we also love playing, so September is looking good, with two two two shows. We hope to see you at one of the following:
Sept. 3 at Santo's Party House with I'm in You and Jump Into the Gospel (I think we go on first, 9:00? 8:00?)
Sept. 17 at 9:00 at Annex with Bridez, Hunters, and maybe one more
More details to come.

Oh, we want to love all the local magazines equally, but somehow we mostly just love The Deli, because they've newly expanded to cover Portland (our beloved alma matter) and because they were kind enough to write a thoughtful and oh-so-accurate (in our humble opinion) little piece on a certain band. Summer has always been good to us. Hope you enjoy: http://thedelimagazine.com/nyc/index-new.php?name=thedeli&itemId=219377&mode=comments#comments

Buenas, Thanks to everyone who came and sweated it out on Saturday for our first full on show in fourish years, with the lovely Ms. Caitlin Roulette from Portland. Who knew we had so many punk dog fans? We had so much fun playing with the delightful Wilde Turkey and Jon Ginoli. Much nostalgia in the house for 1994 and the Z100 Acoustic Xmas Concert. Uh huh.
Photos are up now, and we're sleeping it off until next Tues. at Union Pool when we'll play with our good friend Michael Irwin on the bass.
xoxo Rebecca Roulette

Hey Mami, We dredged up the second-ever performance of the last song the Roulettes wrote, from a show at Tonic Lounge in Portland, 2004. It don't sound that bad... it even sounds kinda good, albeit some rough edges... so have at it.
And we'll see you Saturday at Cakeshop. xxoxo

Dear ones, I am super crazy excited to see Ms. Caitlin Roulette when she arrives in NYC on Tuesday. We promise to practice our asses off in the few days before our first show together in 4ish years, which is 8 days from now, and we know you're gonna be there dancing and screeching and kissing and hugging and eating cupcakes from upstairs at Cakeshop on Saturday April 18th (in case you haven't heard). In the meantime, our lovely EP from Lucky Madison is newly-ish on itunes. Get it and sing along at the show. And if you buy it and love it and want some more, email us at theroulettes@yahoo.com and we'll send you an unreleased track or super unreleased live track from back back in the day. Enjoy enjoy and see you soon. xoxo Rebecca Roulette

The delightful Keith Wagstaff of Williamsburg is Dead is putting together a benefit for the North Brooklyn Story Project on Tuesday April 28th at everyone's favorite, Union Pool. He has delightfully asked the Roulettes to play at said show, with Rebecca Schiffman and The Blue Album Group (yes, they cover the Weezer album start to finish?!). So now we have two reunion shows. We are delighted, and will be playing with the delightful Michael Irwin on bass in place of the delicious Caitlin Poliak. We miss North Brooklyn and plan to represent for the good people who still live there (but not the annoying ones). Details about the show here: http://www.williamsburgisdead.typepad.com/my_weblog/And Keith gave us a nice little description today, saying "The Roulettes have a definite Sleater Kinney vibe that will make you feel as happy as eating a bucket of fried chicken while listening to 'All Hands on the Bad One' for the very first time. That's pretty goddamn happy." Yups. Love is in the air. See you April 18 at Cakeshop!!!!!!!!!!!!
