so those that know me, know that i'm a huge fan of all good reality television. i'm a total american idol junkie, and i'm really not ashamed of that. yes i did almost cry when melinda doolittle was sent home, yes i did vote for her almost 40 times so that it wouldn't be on my conscience that i "didn't do my part".

but i must tell you, as idol comes to a close, there is no sadness for this girl. i know that sounds strange - "what will you do?" you ask. heroes, idol, amazing race and the office won't be back for months - "why is there no sadness behind those eyes?" well my friend, because 'so you think you can dance' begins thursday evening. "what is this dance show?" you ask - only one of the best reality contests ever created!

so if you wonder where i will be come thursday night at 8pm - doubt no more.

hey all - so i highly recommend the latest jars of clay cd "good monsters". it's hella good if you like christian artists. and really, even if you don't i think it stands up pretty well.

so, i was under the assumption that everyone knew that i got a job. but i keep running into people and learn that it's news i haven't been communicating. so, on that note, i got a job. i'm now working for roger mussenden (casting director) on adam sandler's next film. well, i'm sort of working on it considering i'm actually blogging right now.

so praise God, i found a job and will still be allowed to go to africa for two weeks in july.

so now that i'm officially unemployed - i've started doing some of the things that i have been putting off.  so yesterday i watched the doc that people have been telling me i need to see - Invisible Children. 

of course it blew me away.  it left me with tears streaming down my face and speechless.  most of you know, i'm not often speechless.  it certainly inspired me and got me excited to return to africa in july. 

it is amazing to me that God is moving so many different people to serve in so many different ways in africa.  i'm so honored to be a part of what God is doing in africa. 

if you would like to know more about the short film that i will be shooting in south africa this summer - don't hesitate to ask.  and if you feel like helping me get there - well that's good too.  but what i need more than anything are your prayers. 

so if you get a chance, check out Invisible Children.  you won't be disappointed. 

ok, so i just saw this movie that won the best documentary academy award - it's called "born into brothels".  it is truly amazing!  i cannot begin to tell you how much it has stayed with me.  very powerful - very moving - i highly recommend it.
