SXSW - we were there, along with thousands of other bands. Hard to get noticed in such an ocean, but NPR’s Bob Boilen did manage to find us and make mention (http://www.npr.org/blogs/allsongs/2008/03/sxsw_listening_marathon.html). Many thanks to Mr. Boilen for taking the time to give us a listen. Videos of our official showcase are available on youtube.com.

New Songs - Central Park and Pearl for a Heart were just mastered and accesible on our music player. Please give them a listen. They will soon be available for sale on Snocap and iTunes.

Is the first track finalized from Mission to the Sea's upcoming album, Tranquilo, scheduled for release in 2008. It's available for purchase from our Snocap store on this myspace page. Each purchase made funds the creation of future recordings. Help us finish this album!

I did three new recordings with Steven Collins a few weeks ago. Two are posted on myspace ("The Sugar and The Queen" and "Pearl For a Heart"). More to follow; I'm recording with Steven again in the middle of December. The hope is to complete three more tracks and to repeat until we have an album, hopefully in February, with something to release on or before South By Southwest. We've been accepted for a showcase this year; details to follow.

crazy to think that I first posted a note about new recordings in August of last year. Still working on it. I've been in the studio with Taylor Tatsch. Some of those tracks are posted in an unmixed/unmastered form. I've also recorded with Stuart Sikes and am headed to Austin to work with Steven Collins, who did the first Red Light EP. Hopefully something new to release in early 2008.

Mission to the Sea is currently recording. Look for updated postings of new songs. Until the record is finished, show schedules will be minimal.
