I'm so upset right now! I'm so tired of not being thought of in even the smallest of things. Why is it so difficult to be respectful of someone you love?

I like to think that I'm pretty repectful in my relationships. I don't ask anyone for anything and if I do, I give back to them in some shape, form, or fashinoned. I think of those I care about and how my actions affect them.

I'm trying so hard not to be picky, but, there's a reason why it bothers me so badly, I suppose. I've had a rough go of things the last few days and I really don't want to cry anymore, hurt anymore, or dwell on the crap anymore. Maybe I'm asking too much? Maybe I should just thank my lucky stars that I'm alive and well and just move on? I don't know, but, I do know that for whatever reason, it is affecting me in a negative way. I just told Matt on the phone a couple minutes ago that I would find someone else who thinks of me..... but truth be told, I don't want anyone else. I just want him to find it within himself to love me the way I need to be loved. But, I'm not sure if he even knows how!!

I sound like a whinning little brat! I'm also ranting and starting to sound like a crazy woman....LOL! Maybe I am going crazy? Yup, I'm 'bout due for my every 4 years nervous breakdown....LOL.

"I was thrilled to have The Kyle Petty Charity Ride, who have supported us for many years, here and to have such a wonderful turn out from the community at large. This gives us a wonderful jump start to our future efforts as we diligently work to complete the project and to serve children with chronic illnesses from through out the Midwest."said Mike Lepore, President of Victory Junction,

As most of you know, my son, Matthew, has Cerebral Palsy. He is completely phyically dependant and requires round the clock care. He can not walk, talk, feed himself, etc.... He, like all children like him, deserve everything in the world due to the tough card that life had delt him. He's coming to an age where it is more and more difficult for me to physically care for him. After 10 years of lifting him, my back has been irrepibally damaged, and eventually, he will have to live in a facility where he can be cared for better than I phyically can for him. Until that moment comes, I want him to be able to do and have whatever his most innocent and precious heart desires. Unfortunately, those things cost money. And, not only with the currant economic crisis, but with the everyday cost of caring for a child like Matthew, our family's wallet just can't do all of it. This is where Rock 4 Wishes comes in. They have decided to grant my son a wish!! I couldn't be more thrilled for Matthew! However, without the support of people like YOU, that would not be possible.
I am urging all of my friends, family, and anyone who owns or knows people who own businesses to donate and/or sponsor Rock 4 Wishes. Whether its $5 or $5,000 it will not only help my son get his wish granted, but many others with life threatening illnesses, disabilities, and poverty have something wonderful happen for them in their difficult lives!!
Pray on it, and give whatever God is calling you to give. In the Bible, God says that you can't out give Him and that you may test him on it. Give what you can and watch how it comes back to you 3-fold!! I've done it myself and I assure you that it's true!!! One year, I was in a terrible car accident and I recieved a settlement. I gave an undisclosed amount of money to charity. That same year, I got over $5,000 in free, new furniture. I also recieved many checks in the mail that came out of no where for things like back child support that I didn't realize was owed to me, or from 401-K from years earlier saying that they owed me more money that they hadn't noticed until now, etc.... Not only did it feel good to give, but it felt great to watch God showing me his promise!!! Please give and watch God work in your life!!!!
Thank You,
~Missy Lane

***from the desk of Rock 4 Wishes....
We know that you may have not heard of Rock 4 Wishes as of yet but we think that you will really appreciate what it is that we do and defienitly want to get involved with our positive mission.

Here at Rock 4 Wishes we raise funds and awareness for people with life threatening illnesses, people with hanidcaps, and those who live in poverty. There alot of people that have charities out there but we are truly unique. We raise awareness and funds trough Rock and Heavy Metal shows.

Taking the love that people have for this music and fusing it with the love that people have for one another makes us so humble. There is a terrible stereotype about this demographic of people. It is assumed that they are bad and angry people and that they don't care. Nothing could be further from the truth. In most cases these people are the kindest most gentle people that we have ever came in contact with.

We are all people, No one person better than the other. We want to get back to the basics so to speak, meaning that we just want people to care about each other again and help those who are in need. We take proceeds from our shows and fulfill whatever dream that the person we are helping has. There is no greater gift in this world than the one that you give to some one else. We feel this calling so strong, a call to serve these individuals till the day we die. At Rock 4 Wishes we will continue to help the world one person at a time until our body and soul fades away.

We are in great need of Contributions, weather it be 5 bucks or 5,000, every bit helps so much. If we get a lot of people involved than each little bit speaks volumes in our efforts to help all the people we can. We can assure you that this will be one of the greatest things that you can ever involve yourself with. So we humbly ask for whatever help that you can give us in return for one of the greatest blessings you will ever know. We have a donation button on our page that will take you directly to our paypal account where you can donate with a debit or credit card. After you do so make sure to send us a message with your feedback and comments so we can thank your personaly and send you a thank you letter.

Thank you so much for your time and may God bless you richly in everything that you do in this life. Much love and Respect.

Song: Bigger Than My Body

This is a call to the colorblind
This is an IOU
I'm stranded behind the horizon line
Tied up in something true

Yes I'm grounded
Got my wings clipped
I'm surrounded by all this pavement
Guess I'll circle
While I'm waiting for my fuse to dry

Someday I'll fly
Someday I'll soar
Someday I'll be so damn much more
Cause I'm bigger than my body gives me credit for

Why is it not my time?
What is there more to learn?
Shed this skin I've been tripping in
Never to quite return

Yes I'm grounded
Got my wings clipped
I'm surrounded by all this pavement
Guess I'll circle

While I'm waiting for my fuse to dry

Someday I'll fly
Someday I'll soar
Someday I'll be so damn much more
Cause I'm bigger than my body gives me credit for

Maybe I'll tangle in the power lines
And it might be over in a second's time
But I'll gladly go down in a flame
If a flame's what it takes to remember my name

Yes I'm grounded
Got my wings clipped
I'm surrounded by all this pavement
Guess I'll circle
While I'm waiting for my fuse to dry
Waiting for my fuse to dry

Someday I'll fly
Someday I'll soar
Someday I'll be so damn much more
Cause I'm bigger than my body gives me credit for
Cause I'm bigger than my body
I'm bigger than my body
I'm bigger than my body now

A Valentine Prayer

Dear Lord,

Just now a brisk wind

Delivered Your valentine —

The faintest scent

Of good clean earth

Thawing

From the winter freeze.

I picture

Distant lakes

Where rigid ice snaps

And yields . . .

Shadowy dens

Where sleeping bears

Begin to stir.

It's cold, Lord,

And still we're

Deep in snow,

But Your message

Is clear:

In the hard and wintry

Places of my life

There will be spring.
