So I finished the album. I created a nice little zip file with all the songs, a playlist file, the lyrics and the cover. I'm pretty excited, so download it and tell me what you think. It's up at megaupload, so it will be taken down after a few days. If the link is broken let me know and I'll re upload it. ill keep this short. album is finished. album has been scrapped. will begin re-re-recording on monday. demo of new song not on album up. will take up smoking and whiskey to improve voice (cheaper than a vocal coach).

... you end up postponing an album. Recording is being done, in between  bouts of drinking and work. things are looking up for a  finished product this weekend. I need to have an artwork meeting with my buddy bill and get that shit drawn up and pretty. The plan is to have the album up somewhere to download for free (and you can get a big pdf of the artwork too (maybe)) and then if you feel like supporting the artisit and label you can order one for 3 bucks (free shipping) and maybe i'll throw in a special song or something. anyways, back to what some people might call work.

So I finished my 10th song today, so that means I start recording tomorrow. Im gonna rerecord everything and try to make sound pretty for all of you. I gotta tell to get the artwork done. Hopefully it will be ready for the 6th, so keep your eyes peeled.

I decided to give a little heads up on the recording of "Lancaster Calling" or whatever this first album is going to be called. It's going to be ready on 6/6/06. Not completely sure what will make it on to it, but it looks like I'll set up a poll to decide what covers will make it. Sounds good, huh? So keep your eyes peeled. Myself and Bill are going to be putting it out on Drunken Bicycle. The first of many things to come from us. Here's the logo, Happy Jawbreaker Day!

I know of the Dead Milkmen because of my friend Danior. He got me into a lot of good bands. I know of this song from the Lawrence Arms. I have a live acoustic show where they play it. Yesterday I put a pickup into my acoustic guitar, so I needed something to test it out with. I don't have any other songs finished yet, and I was anxious, so here it is. This one is dedicated to the new friends I have made up here in sacramento.

so i knocked this "gem" out in about an hour and a half, from deciding i was goin gto do it, learning it, and doing it.  i could have done better, but so could have congress, but we don't fire them, do we? this is recording for amanda and allison. godspeed.

i was sicking of not having anything new up, so this is a holding spot till i get some real shit together. woo!
