Current mood: working
On October 8th I will present my soundscape for Project Heimat, part of the Bierfest exhibition with Arno Coenen and Martin Duvall at museum Het Domein in Sittard. Project Heimat refers to post-eclecticism and finding your way in political correct patriotism in a new changed political landscape in central Europe after the Great War (1914-1945). More info soon.

Dear all...
I made a new podcast with all new tracks I've bought the last couple of weeks. Well, not all of them are brandnew, but still nice and worth to be put in the mix.
Check the link on my index page!

Current mood: happy
Last night Metal Heart II the live show-off happened at Flexbar. Due to the very very nice weather a lot of people were inbetween the park and flexbar. By the end of the night a party crowd showed up to see one of the highlights of the night, US electrometalists Eustachian

Current mood: amused
Played with James Murphy of LCD soundsystem and his bandmembers in Flexbar last Saturday. I really like their albums, but their dj-set was a little too trippy for me. It seemed he sometimes forgot to turn the filter back on again. But it was funny and James and his bandmembers were very nice people!

My favorite stompboxes for both guitar, bass and other sounds at the moment. The RE-20 sounds awesome and the FuzzFactory is a fuzz never heard of! With lowbit like effects and both gate and compression included in the pedal. You won't find anything like this at any other pedal!

Like every year, the Amsterdam Dance Event is due to arrive in our town. Hipsters and want to be dj's will be walking hand in hand, eager to watch and hear the latest and hippest in dance music. What will it be this year? A crossover between brutal deathmetal and IDM with a sauce of dub-o-tronix? What do all these terms mean? Bassically it is just music to dance to. I'm I right?
What I am going to do is buy a box of cigars. The first 10 people arriving on the BlackLabel showcase (Friday @ Flexbar that is...) will receive one. We will also give away shirts, cd's and records. By that time the new 12" of Krause will be out.
