Well, you probably guessed it already... My new bass is here. I'm pretty happy about it. I ordered it back in late September of '06 and it came today(2/13/07). It's a beautiful Peacock Blue 5-String Peavey Cirrus Custom bass.
I am hoping to live up to this thing and hopefully take things to another level. Only time will tell... Keep my in your prayers as I enter into this new area in my life!
Much love to all that care!
Ross

So... As some may know already... I traveled Spain and Italy for almost 3 weeks during the latter portion of December. I was supposed to leave the 11th, but missed that flight and didn't leave until the next day. I returned on the 29th safe and sound.
It was a good experience for the most part! I was on tour with a gospel choir(Patrick Lundy & The Ministers of Music) from DC. We traveled to over 14 different cities and did some 12 concerts.
We were received very well! Most of the venues were packed out/sold out with barely any standing room, and we had some smaller less populated venues as well. They LOVE gospel music over there though I DOUBT they understand a word.
It was definitely an experience! At first I didn't know how we were being received! They would sit quietly throughout the selections at first, and I'd feel like they don't care for this stuff... And then once we hit the last note of that song they'd explode! lol... Had to get used to that. OH! And they LOVE the song "OH HAPPY DAY"... So, we had to do that song at the end of every concert! They go bizzurk off that song!
We received a LOT of LOVE out there... Something I tried not to get used to, because once back home... It's back to reality. You're a celeb over there...
The food was great! The fellowship was good... And the Sights were amazing! I wish I could've seen more though... Unfotunately we worked almost nonstop so we didn't have the opportunity to really enjoy! I'll have to go back on my own terms...
My only gripe on the trip... The small showers! They only cater to the smaller people that populate that country... Literally had no space in these things! Couldn't buy shoes either!
I put up a site with pics! If you have some time... Do check it out, and I hope you all enjoy! I'll post the link at the bottom...
Ciao!
