Hey Everyone <3

We can't thank everyone enough for all of the support this year. We've had an outstanding year collecting more food at more events and feeding more strangers than ever in our past 12+ years.

We have 30+ events going on between now and the end of 2009. ALL of the remaining DSO northeast tour shows through Buffalo. ALL of the Melvin Seals/JGB northeast tour shows through Burlington, VT. RRE in Stroudsburg Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. All of the Wormtown shows through the end of the year. The 3 Jam for Tots Upstate NY shows. A special Kid's School Supplies and Snacks for a Kindergarten class in Springfield, MA with Shakedown. Boogie in the Bungalow in Kempton, PA. and the Root's of Creation Holiday show and NYE <3

We couldn't begin to do this with out all of you who help in big and little ways and especially those who bring donations for the food banks. We get to see a lot of really happy faces when the food is picked up or dropped off because of you <3

We also really want to thank: The DSO family and especially Matt for stepping up on this tour on really short notice to meet a specific need in Bridgeport, and then invite us to hold food drives on the rest of their tour. The Railroad Earth family for once again getting behind their event in Stroudsburg. We've had outstanding totals there the last two years, and we know it's going to be even better this year. Mark and the Melvin Seals/JGB family for asking us to do food drives on their entire northeast tour. Amy McGovern who stepped up to cover 3 shows in Burlington, VT AND made us a PSA for the events and the JGB and DSO tours! Terrapin and Bridgeport where we filled a van with food including a bunch of turkeys and a bunch of toys. Wormtown for ALL of their support. Mama Strawberry, Katie, Amber, Gina, Mama Hemphanie, Amy, Tom, Kate, Claire, Eddie and everyone else helping out on this epic run through 7 states in 40 days.

So we're asking everyone we know to pass the word and tell everyone you know going to a show about the food drives. Please repost, make invites, tell friends and please bring a donation. Together we ARE making a difference.

We WILL be accepting perishable foods this time since the Mission is right across the street from the venue and will be on-hand to pick up all of the donations.  They are requesting small frozen turkeys specifically along with whatever can be donated...
