Zenescope announced today it will debut a preview
issue flip-book for two upcoming sci-fi titles as well as a limited
edition convention exclusive celebrating the landmark 40th issue of
its popular Grimm Fairy Tales series at Comic-Con
International in San Diego July 22-26.  “We love doing fan
conventions.  The Philly and New York shows we attended so far this
year were fantastic and we're excited for San Diego, which is our last
stop in 2009." said Zenescope's Preseident Joe Brusha "We're going to
add more cities to our convention tour for 2010 since turnouts have
been great.  And we're encouraging our fans to stop by and see us in a
couple weeks because we have some great stuff planned."

 

The flip-book preview
showcases Zenescope's two brand new upcoming science fiction/action
titles AGON
and MERC, both scheduled for a fall 2009
release.

AGON is an epic five issue mini-series in which Earth
is forced
to participate in an intergalactic gladiatorial battle that pits highly
evolved
species from various planets against one another.  Earth's people must
pick their best warriors to compete in the ancient
combat

contract of his wasted life, one that can save thousands of lives and

The gorgeous brand new Grimm Fairy Tales Volume 1 Trade paperback reprint cover by Eric Basaldua can only be found at a Spencer's Gifts near you.  If the one near you doesn't have it in stock, call and ask when they'll be getting Grimm Fairy Tales Volume 1 in their store.  This  gorgeous trade paperback cover isn't available anywhere else and likely won't be for a while.

Comic Con International in San Diego is fast approaching and we're looking for a couple extra volunteers to work at our booth for the weekend.  We'll be holding phone interviews for the next 2 weeks.  
If you live in or are going to be in the San Diego area from July 22-26th and want to be part of the excitement that is Comic Con, email us ASAP at info@zenescope.com along with a resume and brief bio about yourself.  This will guarantee you access into the convention which is currently sold out.  We will also provide volunteers with some free swag!  Only serious inquiries please!

On Saturday June 20th @ 8pm sharp Zenescope will hold their 4th Annual after-party event, this time at Zee Bar located at 100 Spring Garden Street just 1.5 miles from the Convention Center on the corner of Spring Garden and Columbus Blvd.
The party will feature a costume contest for Zenescope's ongoing "Girl of the Month" selection.  Any ladies who attend the exclusive event are encouraged to enter the contest simply by showing up dressed in a fairy tale themed costume.
The grand prize for the contest winner includes $250 cash, a free professional photo shoot by renowned pin-up photographer Celeste Giuliano and a chance to win a trip to Comic Con International 2010 in San Diego!

book The Straw Men was recently optioned by film producer
BenderSpink (The Ring, Butterfly Effect) to be
co-produced by Zenescope's Ralph Tedesco and Joe Brusha, is hosting a
private event at Zee Bar located at 100 Spring Garden
Street on Saturday June 20th at 8pm and you're
invited!

The party is promoting Zenescope's popular and chilling graphic novel
title, Grimm Fairy Tales, and will feature a costume
contest for Zenescope's ongoing "Girl
of the Month" selection.  Any ladies who attend the
exclusive event are encouraged to enter the contest simply by showing
