The Scenic along with a few other artists you know have teamed up with Dreamcare Inc to be a part of their 2010 Musician Calender. Partial proceeds from the calenders will benefit charities related to spinal chord injury, cancer, heart disease, autism, and leukemia research.

The Scenic <4

Well, not really. But that’s the dream I just had. And it was awesomeeee.

Our new record had been out for a while and was multi-platinum (which is gonna happen by the way, cause our new stuff kicks so much ass) And we were up there trying to figure out how play in almost no gravity, trying to figure out if our hands would melt if took our space gloves off, you know, space tech stuff. Our roadie, Junior was there helping us out. We met Junior in real life on Warped tour. He’s the stage manager on the Vans main stage. Theres nothing junior about him by the way. He’s a huge man. He screamed at me the first day I met him, then we jammed at soundcheck, now we’re buds. Anyways, back to space. The show went off without a hitch, there was a huge dance party afterwards with a ton of good looking Asian people (what up Jan!) The only bummer was that The Status’ spaceship brokedown and they couldn’t play the moon show. Sorry dudes, catch you on the dark side.

IN REAL LIFE THOUGH>>>

We’ve been having a blast on Warped, making new friends, watching some of our favorite bands play amazing sets day after day, and enjoying the perks of Warped like free cases of Monster and fast passes at Six Flags on the 4th of July. Its not all fun and games though. Its been HOT.

Frank has an amazing t-shirt tan.

Jeremy – Hey Frank, You been in the Olympics?
Frank – What?
Jeremy – Cause it looks like you won the bronze medal!!

Jake is just dirty and gross. He refused to change his homemade tanktop, which started out orange and is now baby poo brown.

Margot and Shane just sit in the tent and collect free merch as far as I can tell. So drop by and say hey, they seem bored.

And me? I’m the tall guy wandering around with a sunburn and ipod annoying people.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the prayers... this week was a little intense for me. One was one of those weeks i can't even describe.  All i know is that if i did not have my friends by my side, i don't know if i would have made it.  It was one big wake up call for me.  You never know when it's your time, but i am thankful my time wasn't up just yet.  I remember thinking to myself in the hospital that i needed to let everyone know that i love them.  i was terrified to go out like mj, but it makes you think of all the people you love.  honestly,i wasn't  thinking of myself much.  i ended up comforting more people then they were comforting me.  it was kinda funny!  oh,and by the way..i hate hospitals.  they have to be one of the the most lonely places ever!  anyways,so i'm sitting there on a sweat drenched bed, practically dead at 26 from a heart attack, and it really scared the life into me!  i didnt  want to die, i still havn't taken a shit in china, or found bigfoot yet!  I mean yeah, i have done lots of amazing things for my age, but there is always more.  anyways,enough rambling.  all i want to say is thank you for the friendship, love, and prayers. you know who you are: ) live each day to the fullest. love much.smile much,and follow your dreams, because you never know when it's your time to go.
