Yes, the brutal Canadian seal hunt is just around the corner.  Canada even added a couple of extra species hunts earlier this year, perhaps to just annoy the dedicated groups working so hard to see all seal hunts end.

Earlier this week, I sent out a bulletin inviting all our MySpace Friends to join our new MySpace group called IFAW.  Unfortunately, it seems that a few of our friends mistakenly received multiple invitations.  I'm so sorry for this... that was never meant to happen.  I was inviting you to join our friendly group to get to know you better, not trying to jam your inbox and annoy you!  I sent out all the invitations by hand, so there must have been some problem on the backend which duplicated invites.  If you were someone affected by this, please accept my sincere apologies.

I hope this won't deter anyone from joining the IFAW Group.  We have a message board, the ability to add new photos, and it's just a nice environment to speak to each other on a one-on-one basis.  I hope to see you there!

A generous soul is auctioning off two tickets to the premiere of the film "Good Luck Chuck", starring Jessica Alba and Dane Cook.  A portion of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to IFAW!

Ms. Alba  and Mr.Cook will be on hand for the premiere, which will be held in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday, September 19th, 2007.  This is a great chance for you to see the stars walk the red carpet, to catch a great movie, and to support IFAW's work for animals around the globe.
