The Sexual Assault Rape/Crisis Centre of Peel invites you to the 12^th Annual Take Back The Night vigil on September 14 from 6-9 at Bramptons Gage Park.  The march is an opportunity for women to come together and protest violence against women and children in their homes, at work, at school and on the streets. It is also an opportunity to promote public awareness and understanding of the fear that women live with.  We know 2 out of 3 women experience sexual violence and 16-21 year olds are 4 times more likely to be assaulted. We also know that less than 2 percent of all sexual violence gets reported; yet Peel Police Services indicates that since 2001 sexual assault cases have risen by16%. Together we can work towards ending violence against women and children.
