Yes it's true, plans were made for a recording in January at RecStudio where Challenger was done, with Serge Morattel always our fifth (now sixth) member. More on this soon. In the meantime, not two but three more shows coming since we were added to the Keelhaul + Taint bill in Martigny, Nov. 21. Complete aural destruction followed by inhuman partying with our beloved welsh and yankee friends?

Voilà ça y est, on n'est plus très loin du RecStudio de Serge Morattel, là où Challenger fut enregistré il y a huit ans et où le prochain album sera mis en boîte, on l'espère sans trop de souffrances, durant le mois de janvier 2010.

D'ici là encore trois concerts dont un avec Napalm Death à Lyon et le petit dernier, un ajout de dernière minute à l'affiche des Caves du Manoir à Martigny, le 21 novembre, aux côtés de nos amis Keelhaul et Taint. Que dire de cette soirée, qui ne vous sera pas encore venu à l'esprit? Be there or die squealing, en bon français...

Hey folks, we're still busy completing material for a new album. All we can say is that we've come up with some crazy shit. In the meantime we've added a few shows and as you can see, in September we'll be supporting Napalm Death twice. Those guys have been ruling the extreme world for some 25 years and have just released their best album in years. Add our friends Mumakil on one of the shows and you've a got quite a punishing bill.

Holà! L'écriture continue, les riffs débiles s'ammoncellent et il faut encore organiser tout ça. Un nouvel album en 2010? On y croit. En attendant, Knut donnera quelques concerts dont deux impossibles à refuser, en ouverture de Napalm Death les Kings of Pop (on me dit du grind, je prends note). Et comme Mumakil sera aussi à l'affiche de la date du Kofmehl le 18 septembre, ça devrait faire assez mal.

it's been a while since we came up with an update. nothing much as we're still busy writing material, at a rather slow pace admittedly (but how long did keelhaul take??)... no shows or tours planned during this process, except for the odd event (stay tuned but avoid offering). merchandise such as cds, limited terraformer lps and boy/girl shirts & hooded sweaters can be ordered to us directly; we also carry a few copies of the 3-cd "falling down" complication featuring the one and only new knut track available on earth and elsewhere. ask for details, sizes and prices: unknut@hotmail.com

last but not least, division records is planning a reissue of challenger (long gone) in vinyl with gatefold sleeve. more on this asap.

on vous le refait en schadok: toujours pas des masses de news si ce n'est qu'on prend une éternité à composer (mais comme je le disais plus haut, combien de temps a pris keelhaul avant de retourner en studio, hein? la putain de bonne nouvelle à part ça)... quoi d'autre? on lève le pied côté scène si ce n'est pour tel évènement ponctuel, donc svp ne nous proposez rien parce qu'on a de la peine à refuser et on aimerait croire à un album avant 2012... time for news: we're working on new material and mind you, it should take a few more months. in the meantime one brand new track will be featured on a comp called falling down (check our top friends). it has a pretty amazing line-up including pelican, kylesa, amen ra, impure wilhelmina, yog, cortez, zatokrev, etc.
our contribution, which is the first to feature our pair of axemen tim and chris, turned out pretty wicked and had "malefic" as working title, but that should change. we recorded it at jerome mumakil's studio, where terraformer was done. but thankfully without the computer crash that plagued that session, leaving us with an unfinished stereo mix... (that belongs to history now). other projects include a cover song for a tribute to our friends tantrum. time will tell. also, an outtake from terraformer, "kyoto", is included on the ptr 25th anniversary compilation next to almost all the bands that have abused eardrums in geneva: the young gods, vomitose, hell's kitchen, nostromo, shora, stevans, prejudice, hateful monday, impure wilhelmina, etc. ptr is one of the show promoters at l'usine, more info here: www.ptrnet.ch

on the live front, following a domestic appearance on the PTR stage of the annual "fête de la musique", we'll be playing one only summer festival in germany called south of mainstream, in cammer near berlin, with the likes of dälek, qui and storm of light.
