As a cancer survivor myself, this touches me as close as it possibly could. Not only am I a survivor, I have lost many family members and friends to this horrible disease. 10 Years ago, I finished my treatment for Hodgkin's Disease. Today I stand clean and clear. I am thankful to be here today. Unfortunately, not all are as fortunate as I have been. There is still so much to be done in research and development. Some of you can do a little, some of you can do a lot. If each of us did something, the results would be off the charts! Please consider skipping a few drinks at Starbucks, a few lunches out, a round of golf or whatever thing you can think of to help raise funds! I promise you will feel better for it! I thank each of you from the bottom of my heart with whatever amount you can give! Go here to help! Pressing on together toward a cure!

A little over a month ago I started a photo blog around town. I use my Treo 700wx to take the pictures and then remotely send them to my blog for all to see. I don't modify them at all. They are raw and as I see them. Some are silly, some are fun, some are just because I felt like it.

This last Sunday our local newspaper The Columbian did a great story about flipping homes. It gives a great perspective of this phenomenon with a true picture. Check out the story here.
I am especially proud of the story since it is about a dear friend of mine who also happens to be a great business partner. You might even recognize one of the mugs in each of the photo's.
Take care,
Dale Chumbley

We just received a call from my brother Darin that his father in law passed away tonight. We were blessed enough to meet Duane this past September at the wedding in Erie, PA. Duane was an incredible man with an unbelievable heart. Unfortunately that gracious, giving heart did not have such a worldly strength.
Duane was filled with an incredible love for the arts and possessed a wonderful musical talent. I am thankful I had the opportunity to see him sing at Darin and Tiffany's wedding. What a wonderful memory.
Our love and sympathy goes out to Debby, Tiffany, Darin, Eric and the entire Kraus family!
We love you! Dale, Bridget, Andrew and Jillian

Dear Friends, ..
Tonight and tomorrow, one in ten Americans will sit down in their living rooms and tune-in to American Idol for a special episode called "Idol Gives Back."
We are excited to announce that Bono will be making an appearance Wednesday night on behalf of ONE urging the millions of Americans watching the show to join us in the fight against extreme poverty. Bono will meet with the Idol contestants to talk with them about ONE and the difference your advocacy is making in the lives of the world's poorest people. The Idol contestants will also perform "American Prayer," a song written by Bono and Dave Stewart about the AIDS emergency in Africa.
We need your help to make sure your friends and family are watching. Spread the word about tonight and tomorrow's shows! This is a great way to introduce friends and family to ONE. Invite them to join you in the fight against extreme poverty.
Forward this e-mail to friends and family and ask them to join today by visiting:www.ONE.org
Wednesday night's show will be a two-hour special hosted by Ellen and featuring appearances by Celine Dion, Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, Earth, Wind & Fire, Il Divo, Keira Knightley, Hugh Grant, Josh Groban with the African Children's Choir, Jack Black, Helen Mirren, Rascal Flatts, Quincy Jones, Carrie Underwood, Annie Lennox and many more.
We are excited about what the next two days could mean for the fight against AIDS and extreme poverty. Because of your continued support and involvement, extreme poverty is getting the national attention it so badly needs. When millions of people come together as ONE voice, anything is possible.
Thank you for your energy and dedication,
Susan McCue, ONE.org

Today is the day! Yes it is the official opening of Vancouver Farmers Market. The Indoor Market is open year round now but the kickoff for the Outdoor Market is finally here.
Choose from dozens of agricultural vendors for all your freshest produce to tons of arts and crafts vendors where you can pick up anything from Botanicals to Baubles.
Plus my favorite... the food vendors! Grab a quick snack or a full meal. Teriyaki or Texas, Sausage or Shave Ice, Baklava or BBQ, the list goes on and on! While you are there don't forget to pick up something from Clark County's own " The Garlic Lady". This is the best!
