It's been quite a while since I've posted anything here, so I figured now would be a good time to do it!!

After spending the last year and a half playing with a local band on drums and keys, I am returning to my solo music full time. I am re-releasing my Christmas project this year (with a new cover), and starting in January, will begin working in earnest on my brand new solo project. I am VERY excited about this project, as there will be quite a few familiar names involved. More details to follow soon....

Also, on a personal note, I'd like to announce the birth of my youngest son, Alexander Karl Boreing!! Alec (as he will be known) was born October 27th at 1:43am. Both Mama and Alec are doing just fine and are both at home.

Nothing else really of importance to announce right now, so HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

Just a quick update....tracking for my brand new CD will begin this month, with 12 songs on the agenda. I am VERY excited about this project, as there will be much more work being put into this project than any I have ever done before. There are plenty of surprises in store with this recording, and as soon as some more of the deals are finalized, I'll start spilling the beans.

STAY TUNED!!

Just to let everyone know, I have resigned my position with Acclaim. The reason for my leaving has to do with on-going scheduling conflicts, and in the end, it simply was not feasible for me to remain with the group. I want to thank Gaylen, Dave, and Noah for the opportunity to spread the gospel with them. I am extremely grateful to these men for allowing me to share a platform with them to spread the gospel. I will still be working with them on various behind-the-scenes projects, and Acclaim remains some of my dearest friends.

You can rest assured, I am NOT leaving gospel music. I am still working on my new solo project, which I hope to have out this fall, and I will be taking bookings on a limited basis for solo appearances. I hope to have a single released to radio by the end of this summer, as well, so stay tuned!!

I will have a brand new official website up in the coming weeks where you can see my schedule, listen to music samples, and purchase my music. Once that is done, I will post it here for everyone.

If you are interested in booking me for an event, you can send an e-mail to wavemakersmedia2@gmail.com or send me a message here on MySpace.

Thanks!!

My first few weeks with Acclaim have been quite a learning experience!! Having done solo work for so long, it's somewhat of a change to be able to just sit back and let the group's harmony carry you.

It's also nice to be able to split the workload!!

In the mean time, I have been continuing work on my solo material. I have several songs "in the can" already, some country, some gospel. Due to my schedule with Acclaim, I'm not going to be actively pushing my solo work, but I am still going to work on some stuff, which I will post on here as I finish it. Maybe if I keep working, I'll have enough material for another full album!

I have one new song that will be posted here in the next couple weeks. It's still in the recording process (I need to sing the darn thing!), but I'm VERY excited about it, so keep your eyes peeled!

I am thrilled to announce that, effective immediately, I have been named lead singer of Acclaim Quartet, based out of Greenville, OH. With this new endeavor will bring about some big changes for this site. Rather than pushing new solo music, I will be taking a break from my solo work, while I concentrate soley on singing with Acclaim. New music will be floating around as I have time to record, but all work on any future solo albums has been suspended indefinitely.

I want to thank everyone who has supported me thus far. It is greatly appreciated beyond words. I encourage everyone to come visit Acclaim as we travel around the country. You can visit our MySpace site, check out schedule, read our blogs (and add is to your friends) by going to http://www.myspace.com/acclaimquartet.

I am very excited about this opportunity, and I look forward to seeing everyone on the road!!

In addition to working on my new country project (due out sometime next spring), I am also producing a CD for my nephew, Jeremy Boreing!

This is an interesting project, as it is entirely pop/rock. It's an interesting challenge, but so far, I am very pleased with the results. We hope to have it finished and released this winter (Wavemakers Media will be releasing it).

If you get a chance, visit Jeremy's website and add him as a friend (and comment on the music clips!). It's located at http://www.myspace.com/jeremyboreingmusic.

Till next time!

Over the next several months, I will be posting new songs from my upcoming country project!! I have already uploaded two songs, "Jenny's Souveniers" and "Whiskey Lady," and I promise more will follow....

Please keep in mind that these songs are still in the "rough mixes" stages; they are NOT the final product. I am uploading these for everyone to get an idea of what is to come.

I welcome any and all comments on the new music!! In a way, you will help play a part in the production of my new CD. What songs do you like? What don't you like? What would you do different?

Send me your messages with your input!! Together, we'll record one of the best projects I've ever done.

My new CD, Favorites, is available now to purchase!! This is a collection of 12 of the most-requested songs I've recorded over the years, spanning 5 projects and one special release.

Notable tracks include brand-new recordings of "Music For My Soul" and "It's So Peaceful," originally from my debut CD, Angels. These two songs were re-done to give them a much cleaner, tighter sound than the original releases.

Also included (courtesy of Garland Craft) is "Then You'll See," which was originally recorded for Garland's project, Song I Wrote They Did. This track is very special to me, as this is not only one of my favorite songs, but it was written, produced, and performed by Garland, himself (I only sang lead vocals, the rest of the vocals and instrumentation was done by him). This is truly his song and his performance, and to have this included on my project is an incredible honor.

Other songs on this collection include "I Have Seen The Light," "One More Day," "Turn Your Radio On," and "Wings Of A Dove," to name a few.

The CD retails for $12. I'll have PayPal information on here soon, for online orders (details will be posted soon!).

In the mean time, production is continuing on my next all-new project, Cross Country, which is slated for a fall release. More information to come on this exciting album!!

Until next time!
