In case you digital-only people haven't noticed: 80% of your crap never gets sold, so please stop sending me messages and comments and requests to buy anything from any digital platform!
The democracy of everybody can now get their music out there and sold is simply not working! Get back in the studio, practise, learn, and just maybe you might have the talent to make a track that's actually worth listening to. Knowing how to push buttons in Ableton or Fruity loops does NOT mean you are a producer. Just live with it and play music by other people if you haven't got the talent.

It should be quite easy: you check out people's profiles and with just a small dose of empathy and common sense you can decide who of the thousands of people on this thing could be a logical friend. Any decent marketing book will tell you that spamming hundreds of people who have no interest in what you are doing whatsoever is a waste of time and precious bits & bytes.
So for those of you who cannot read and understand at the same time: I am NOT interested in being friends with t-shirt sellers, half-assed rock or pop bands, second hand models or bling-bling sporting r&b producers.
Furthermore, leaving a comment on somebody's space is intended to show your appreciation or just to say hi to somebody you know, and NOT a free advertising space. If what you have to announce is related to what I do I'll be happy to help out, but anybody who takes 5 mins to read my space should know that I couldn't care less about just another mediocre digital release or God forbid a party taking place at the other side of the world...I'm in Belgium, nobody is gonna fly over to Detroit for a booty party...
Other than that I am quite happy and sociable :-)

Every once I a while I do not only want you to come to a party I am playing at... No, every once in a while I am inviting you to a party because your presence is highly requested and appreciated.

My Decadance dj colleague Jens Holmes and myself are moving on in this music thing. At this moment we both have a brand new record in the stores that we produced or co-produced. As you can imagine this is something we are not only proud of, it is also something we would like to celebrate together with those people that keep us motivated to do our thing: you!

That is why we have reserved our beloved Decadance on Saturday 29 March to throw a party you are not likely to forget. The remix on my record was done by Chicago legend Tyree Cooper and so we have decided to invite him as main guest. Next to that you will be able to enjoy live sets by ’Telepaticos’ Marcos Salon and Sandro Valcke - the Ghent-based production team with whom I co-produced a track on my record and ’The Afternooners’, the alias under which Jens Holmes and his partner release their late-night house grooves. And yes, I myself will also play a record or two...

But we do not only want you to come and dance, we also invite you to have a drink at the little reception we will be hosting between 22h and 00h. Below you will find the flyer for this night. Please print this and bring it along on the night, it is your personal invitation for the reception AND the party valid for two people. Champagne and/or juice are on us!
