As the world goes completely bonkers, Jeff and I have been slowly writing a volume of material in efforts to make it a better place, presumably by piecing those songs togetherin into a record someday, presumably as Saint Narcissus (my solo "identity") and Bird by Bird (Jeff's thing). In the meantime, I have decided to break some of my songs in by playing some acoustic shows. Below is a message about one of those that I posted on myspace.com/saintnarcissus.
I'll be playing with longtime friend Denison Witmer, as it will be a CD Release party for him. I might just have to throw in a MWH song at some point, and someone whose name starts with J and ends in eff might just turn up to lend a hand here and there (you guessed it, Jazzarlineff might make a cameo). Hope to see you there.
Hello friends,
I am happy to say I am finally playing a show. No better place to start than the Chameleon, in the Lizard Lounge. For the most part it will feature myself and my guitar, with some familiar faces joining me here and there.
Thursday, November 13 at the Chameleon. Time and details TBD.
I'd love to hear from any of you, feel free to drop me a line.
-Keith

Hey everyone
We're super-excited to announce that we've been asked to open for Barack Obama at tomorrow's (Saturday, April 19) rally in Lancaster.
Barack will roll into the Lancaster train station at 6pm. Gates open at 4pm. The event is free to the public and tickets are not required.
Movies With Heroes will be performing an acoustic set directly before Obama's speech. We might even get to introduce him! This is a real honor for us, and we are proud to be a part of such a once-in-a-lifetime event.
Hope to see all of our PA peeps tomorrow! Jeff, Keith and Adam MWH

Hey duders
So, apparently Matt Pinfield called up our friend Chooch the other day and told him that Movies With Heroes is now in regular rotation on his national radio show. That, of course, is awesome. We don't know what song, or stations, or anything really, other than that some people are telling us they've been hearing it on Sirius.
So, listen for it, and tell them to stop calling us Movies Without Heroes. Word Jeff

These are recordings from one of our favorite shows ever in our second home, Dublin. They are live and acoustic, and were recorded through the sound board.
You can stream the songs first, and if you like them, you can download them. Please go check it out! Jeff and Keith MWH

Hey everyone We made it back from Europe in one piece. Kind of. We had a great time. It was incredible to make so many new friends and to hang out with the great people we met last year (Dublin, holla!)
The tour was dynamic, to say the least. Low points included: Canceled shows, a-hole promoters, guitars flying off the roof of our van on the highway, bed bugs, broken down cars, broken down vans, being chased out of Chemnitz, Germany by Nazis, getting lost, and smelling really bad.
Good points included: Great shows, interviews, photo shoots, epic nights in Dublin, Arnhem, Milan, London, Herzebrog, Traunstein, Glasgow and Exeter, touring with Airway (from Italy) and Tokyo Jo (from England), hanging out with our label in Milan, doner kabobs, watching the football championships, watching the city of Milan go up in flames, and unleashing a devastating amount of rock and roll on the peoples of Europe.
Overall, a good time. Although next time we could use a few less Nazis and a few more nights in Dublin. Guinness.
Anyway, thanks to EVERYONE who hung out with us, threw back a few pints, gave us a place to sleep, etc. Lots of love all around. Can't wait to come back. Shouldn't be too long ... details to come. Meanwhile, we will be working on arranging the next tour, writing new songs and trying to to get Airway's songs out of our heads.
If you have pictures of the tour, please send them! And please tell your friends about Movies With Heroes! Love, Keith and Jeff and Daniel and Scott and Adam MWH

Hey everyone We are excited to announce that we've been getting some love from BBC Radio 1. If you're in the UK and have a phone (I bet you do), please call them up and request "Wake Up!"
Thanks to everyone who came out to Jeremy, Chiemena and Patrick's final show on Sunday. It was a nice way to send them off, and it was fun debuting the new lineup.
For Europe peeps - keep your eyes peeled for reviews and interviews in Rock Zone, Rockline, Sonic, Rockstar, Up Magazine, Metal Hammer Italy and more. And stay tuned for the release of the video for "The Wave" plus exclusive "behind the scenes" footage on MTV Italy.
Can't wait to meet up with all of our old and new European friends. And America - we're not done with you either. :)
Everyone check out American Pig clothing (there is a banner/link on our site). They make awesome hoodies, shirts, belts, hats and more with a deviously clever political angle.
Lots of love, Jeff and Keith MWH
