Hey Hey HEAD Lovers, just wanted to share some good news with our friends, fans and family.  Ryan Jarrell, drummer extraordinaire, has joined our warped little family.

You know how it is, we had just decided we weren't going to have a permanent drummer and then he comes along with his amazing pocket and a writing chemistry that couldn't be ignored.

We are very excited with the direction our music has taken with him on board and invite you to join us at our FREE premier show Monday, June 2^nd at World Café 3025 Walnut St. 8:45pm.  This is an ALL-AGES show!! 

So, we were all disappointed (and hopefully so was everyone else) that the show on Friday at Doc's was cancelled, we were so excited for our first live show since Feb, but alas, it was not to be.  But, (i know you are not supposed to start a sentence with but, but whatever) we have more on the way.  We will be playing at the World Cafe on Monday, June 2nd at 9pm, which is an amazing venue and an all-ages show to boot!!  We will be debuting many new tunes and some visting players, so don't miss out on our first show in quite some time!!

I want to make sure that all of our friends and family know that we haven't abandoned them, we haven't been around a whole lot lately because we are really working on this new set to make it perfect and making sure we dot all the i's and cross all the t's!!  The weather is getting warmer and we are ready to give everyone as much HEAD as they can handle!! 

So, yesterday we said goodbye to all things Grape.  The Grape Street has been home to us for many years, from testing out the new sound system when they were moving from the old spot (actually on Grape Street, hence the name) to the wonderfully bittersweet, drunken debacle last night.

There are so many things that would not have been possible for us if it had not been for the Grape.  There is no other club in Philadelphia that put the time and effort into the local music scene and we want to thank Andrew, Eddie, Barb, Billy, Clark and all the staff for giving us a home base and a place to really showcase our sound and music.

It is with sadness and melencholy that we say farewell to an integral part of our history as a band.  There was never a time when you came out that you didn't see ppl you knew and loved and there was always a good band to catch on any given night.  If you are reading this and never actually took part, you missed out on something really amazing.

So, as we start on this new chapter in our history, we will always be reminded of where we came from and know that we were a part of something bigger than all of us......

Oh my god!  What a crazy weekend, that kinda started on Thursday...lol.  Dewey Beach Music Festival is about as fun of a time as you can shove into 3 days of awesome music, music people and things that involve free food and alcohol!!  This was our second year playing and it was just as awesome as the first.  Its nice to have an event with so many different kinds of music and an event staff that treats us all with respect, can't beat it!

If you have never been, I would highly reccommend it..........

After careful deliberation and many auditions with some great players, we have decided to add the talented Matt Orlando to the HEAD line-up!  We are really psyched and have a lot of new things in store along with some new music to play for y'all in the near future!!  Many thanks to everyone who came out to audition and learned our stuff!  I hope to see y'all out on August 3rd @ the Grape Street, we'll be playin with Fat City Reprise and Jealousy Curve so it will be a great line-up!! 

Wow, it's been a while since i posted, it's been a bit busy here in the HEAD camp.  No, we have not found a new drummer, but yes we still have amazing, fabulous friends filling in until we do.  I think since all of the whirlwind of the last year all of us in HEAD have taken a step back and looked at what the best course of action would be.  What we have decided is that we are taking it easy on the live shows for the next month or so to write a brand new set. 

We have all of these amazing songs that we haven't been able to work on because of our playing schedule, and taking the lead from some of the other fabulous bands in the area, we have decided that we need to give them life!!  Hopefully we will have it mostly finished at the end of May (24th) for our show @ The Grape Street and give all of our fans a big surprise (plus the surprise we all have planned anyway) of a ton of new music!!
