Hi babes. Today would have been our four year anniversary which I'm sure you know. Today I celebrate our love. I celebrate my best friend. It has only been a mere 4 years but you are and were truly the love of my life. I will always hold you close in my heart and of course I will always love you forever. Here's the poem that I wrote you in 2006.
April 17th Once upon a time
There was a dream I'd always dream.
I kept it only in my heart
And nowhere to be seen.
A fairy tale life--I wished
for love, for peace and laughter.
Yet never could I speak the words,
"Happily ever after"
Once upon a time
I lost all trust and sense of meaning.
That is, until I looked at you.
I finally stopped dreaming.
For there you were before my eyes
And everything stopped spinning.
I wanted to have all of you
But it was only the beginning.
That day, the sun shined brighter
Than it ever had before.
And all the nightmares washed away
Like waves upon the shore.
My heart began to beat again
But it stops sometimes too.
Every time you hold me close,
And when I look at you.
I see the one I've waited for
That lives inside my soul.
The one I cannot be without.
It's you who makes me whole.
I want you here beside me
And with you, I will stand.
For on my hand is so much more
Than just a silver band.
Sometimes I feel the fear again
And it may never leave.
But it is me that wants to stay,
And in you, I believe.
So if you'd like to dance again,
As we have done before.
Then I will gladly take your hand
Beside the kitchen door.
I'll lean my head against your chest
As long as I am able.
And in my heart I'll always keep
The seventeenth of April

Catwalk Tragedy is THE alternative beauty pageant/fashion show started by intrepjidJAM. "It started as a light hearted response to main stream beauty pageants and media ideals at the time," laughs intrepidJAM owner, JoAnna Marmon. "The initial Catwalk Tragedy judges were billed as '4 fat guys and a rock star'… Over the course of the evening there was no denying that we were onto something. There were no other events affirming the "alt" or "non mainstream" world. Granted, most every trend I've watched has started in the "alt world" and then seems to have been picked up by the fashion world and popularized. This makes our "alt world" the cutting edge of trend setting for mainstream, which on the surface is odd, considering how aesthetically different the two worlds appear". This year Catwalk Tragedy is truly embracing the fashion side of things and, although Catwalk is still an alternative beauty pageant, it has become a fashion show and designer showcase now as well. Featuring some of the top rising stars in the alt modeling world walking side by side with fresh faced armatures and semi-professional models, this year will be the fiercest competition we've ever had. The event's bar has been raised, with judges such as legendary alt photographer, Lithium Picnic, Superstar fashion and fetish model Apnea, Philly's own Joey Martini, America's Next Top Model's Jayla Rubinelli, and Victorian/Art Neoveou designer, Kambriel. "We've really taken it up a notch and left a spitmark on the national map as THE alt event of the year for models, photographers, designers, and artists," comments co-creator Jeff Cohn of x-pose.net. Yes, Catwalk Tragedy has thrills, sexuality, humor, beauty and fashion... but what it has now and has ALWAYS had since day one is PERSONALITY! "Catwalk tragedy is a chance for alternative girls to celebrate their differences" Say's Casey Brooke (Catwalk Model 3,4) "I enjoyed Catwalk 3 and am just as excited to be apart of it again this year. Its a chance to make friends, let loose, and put yourself out there for all of Philly; and possibly the World to see" This event has proven over and over that the world doesn't fear tattoos, piercings, blue or green hair in a Mohawk… it craves them. The world's canvas is a prettier piece of art because of them. The photographers, designers, movers and shakers, famous and average Joes, will all flock, side by side, to watch the creative and the original showcase their talents in the spotlight. Catwalk Tragedy is a chance to express yourself, get discovered, do some great networking, create friendships and enjoy a truly great evening for all. This year Catwalk Tragedy will feature 3 female rounds, 3 male rounds, an 18 ft runway properly lit for photography, and the clothing of Delicious Corsets, Sourpuss Clothing, and Tattooed Kingpin. 2008 Sponsors include: Tish and Snooky's MANIC PANIC, Delicious Corsets, Spiral Stitching, PlastikWrap, Kambriel, Tattooed Kingpin, Sourpuss Clothing, Wicked Talent, Spikes and Rings, Drop Dead Magazine, Death Rock Magazine, Jason Messer Photography, x-pose.net photography, The Fall Studios, Dead and UnDead, Bullie Belts, Hyde Design and more!! We will also be raising money for www.ramusa.org at the event. Please visit their site and donate. They provide FREE health care to those who need it right here in the USA, and in other countries. You can view all of the contestants, and event details at: myspace.com/catwalktragedy4
