A quick apology to all Scopers who were there last Sat 8th December Yes, it was me who played Get Back just like 20mins after Mike had played it. Duh! I feel I must explain... I just didn't have time to reheat a frozen box of Tesco b4 I went to do Scope, so I was starving. Normally U can count on the highly nutritious Kings College curley fries, but bloody hell the upstairs bar/chip dispenseree was shut! So I popped out to get some spicey cashews from the Costcutter opposite the Royal Courts of Justice. Now I thought I was the only DJ to play Get Back, so when I was thinking (as I do) hm what Beatles will i slip in, I thought ooh yes Get Back. I should have looked at the playlist. I could cut my little finger off Japanese-style for repentence but I only have a bendy plastic knife from a British Airways plane-meal. (The spicey cashews were great but the 87p bag is enough- the only-slightly-larger bag is a couple of quid) So... apologies to all.
Herb x PS Ashcroft's new single Why Not Nothing is brilliant and someone better dance to it this week

Like, hello Scopers, idle surfers, and NATO Supreme Command
These blogs date worse than that slice of chicken pizza in the back of your fridge so it's November 2006 right now and this message is best before... 07/12/2006
It's about COLLIDE-A-SCOPE! And there's THREE THINGS! 1. Mike & me have been having a great time despite the ocassional request for G'n'R (leave it out, please!) but yes we all miss Little Chris, it's only fair to honour the great (yet not very tall) man who has made Scope wot it is. Who will play the Postal Service now? On a positive note, it was luverly to have a sesh from Dom (Panic) this month and we want more don't we? (YES!) That man may look to cool to care, but he has the tunes and he's got your measure, oh Scopers...
2. Here are some new(ish) tunes that I like right now so you'll be getting more of these... Babyshambles- The Blinding (Regal) Sunshine Underground- Commercial Breakdown (City Rockers) Magic Numbers- Take A Chance (Heavenly) Rifles- Peace and Quiet (Red Ink) Richard Ashcroft- Why Not Nothing (Parlophone)
3. We are doing POPSCENE 2K7 on NEW YEARS EVE and if I knew what the bloody link was I'd tell U now (er... try Google in the meantime). It promises to be unfeasibly pleasurable and we got a 60s floor and the drinks are the same prices as usual (OH MY GOD it's true) and U may get concussion from the balloons (if your skull is made of soap-bubble that is) and you young souls will enjoy about as much as your bodies can stand while still clothed if you come along! More soon...
Well I must return to my mothership now so I hope 2 see U at Scope soon...
Herb x
