bonjour lovelies,

as you may know, i am headed to PARIS in exactly ONE WEEK. I am very, very excited about this little trip and am so happy to be sharing it with my dear friends. We will only be there for three and a half days before we head to London (also, so excited!) but I'm hoping to squeeze in as many fabulous things as I can.

if you have been to paris and have some suggestions on things i MUST see and do whilst i am there, please leave a comment and let me know. i've got a few ideas, but i'm also open to hear about some hidden gems, favourite spots etc.

i squealed with delight when i found out about this:
MySpace Fashion Presents: The Fit with Shannen Doherty


my favourite, shannen doherty, is funny and charming!  this is a refreshing break, after all the tales of her drama.  i'm not joking, "e! true hollywood: beverly hills 90210" was an eye opener, to say the least.

and whilst it's fun to learn how ms doherty dresses, it would be far more helpful to learn about these timeless and brilliant looks:





now, i don't think i can get on board for light wash denim, but i'm definitely considering ties and baby doll dresses for fall 2009.

Hi Lovely People,

GREAT NEWS: my dear pal, Leila Hebden, and I are returning to the decks at "Yo! Remember the 90s" and, as such, I am requesting that you pull out your diaries/agendas/blackberries to note that you now have plans the evening of Saturday May 9th, 2009. You know the rest - your fave 90s songs, augusta house, 5$, best times.

If you were at our last session (as DJ's Blossom and Six), you'll remember all the amazing 90s jams we spun for y'all. We got the crowd "Jumpin' Jumpin'" with Destiny's Child, We got Christina Aguilera to "Come On Over" and Mya, Pras, ODB dropped by with shout outs to all the "Ghetto Superstars" ....

AND SO - in less than two weeks time, we will be bringing it again.

who's your favourite character? i really do love all the kids - but - i think i have the biggest soft spot for hermione granger. i think it's so wonderful to have a bright, brave and brainy girl in the time of bratz dolls and disney pop princesses.


PS: you must check out harry and the potters (http://www.myspace.com/harryandthepotters) and draco and the malfoys (http://www.myspace.com/dracoandthemalfoysusa). the songs are hilarious. i saw them play in toronto a couple of summers ago and it was out of control fun with kids in costumes, and people cheering for either harry or draco.
