CENTRAL CONTROL INTERNATIONAL : NEW RELEASE INFORMATION

Central Control is delighted to announce the debut album by The Gilded Palace of Sin entitled You Break Our Hearts, We'll Tear Yours Out.

Traditional band roles are distorted. Pete Phythian sings, plays guitar and more besides, Vini Taylor plays guitar, banjo, drums and sings, and Michelle Lock plays Theremin, glockenspiel, ukulele, jaw harp, mandolin and various percussion.

The album was recorded in Manchester, mixed in London by Barry Adamson and mastered in New York. Like the master tape's journey, be prepared to go on a ride like no other.

"...like Mark E Smith having an Antichrist hoedown with the Bad Seeds" NME

"...dusty noir-rock anthems, the kind you'd hear in your mind's ear when gazing out at some great Wild West vista" CLASH MAGAZINE

"...dark, inventive and occasionally downright weird - the best sort of band... totally free of inhibition and willing to go where the music takes them. Their tunes are luscious inventions that [fill] the more open-minded with a satisfied glow of adventure, drama and admiration" BBC

"...a gothic downpour of burden - eclectic yet cohesive" FLUX MAGAZINE
