Writers-Network.com is being upgraded... again!
Transparency: Say good-bye to anonymous reviews and hello to a more practical, useful review system. Members can now see exactly who has reviewed their work.
Enhanced Reviews: feedback now include a verdict, comment and rating. Plus, you can applaud the poems you feel are beyond perfection or even send a gift in points!
Feedback Settings gives you more control over your feedback. Now you can decide what kind of feedback you like and whether or not you want to make your comments public or public.
Avatars are live! All members now have a personal avatar attached to all their posted writing and comments on the site.
Review the Reviewer: Not all comments are helpful. Our new tool now allows you to vote whether a comment you received was helpful or not. This will encourage users to provide constructive, helpful feedback and increase the quality level of reviews on the site!
Block Feature: You can now block users from viewing your profile and writing portfolio.
New Profile Designs: 32 New Profile designs have been added to the site.

 LAST CHANCE: Writers-Network.com is in search of member-contributed columns to publish on the website. We are looking for helpful tutorial-style articles that we can share with the members of our community. This is a contest so only the best articles will be chosen. The authors keep all copyrights of their work. Articles must be written on one of the following subjects:
1) Poetry Forms & Writing Styles
2) How to Write a Great Critique / Review
3) Story & Character Development
4) Customizing Your Profiles (text, images, html etc..)
5) "Getting Started" articles to help new members upon signup

Dearest Poets & Writers,
we are pleased to announce the latest changes to the Writers-Network.com community! The following is the beginning of a large series of updates for W-N. We hope that you enjoy the changes and will continue to benefit from this website for many years to come. 1. Site Face-Lift: What more can we say? We've completely redesigned W-N in hopes of providing a refreshing new look for all our members. The redesign including our main site as well as the members area. Our inspiration: Clean, Calm and easy to navigate!
2. New Forum: As you may have guessed, this forum is brand new! Not only is it packed with all the latest message board features like private messaging, polls, avatar/smilies and more, but it has also been integrated with our main site to allow for easy registration and login! No more double accounts or double logins. With our new forum, you only have to register once on the main site to gain access to the forums. Plus when you login to the main site, you are automatically logged into the forums as well (and vice versa).
3. New Store: We have finally successfully launched the official W-N store. Our brand new store accepts both online payments with credit AND offline money orders! Upgrading is now better then ever since you are now able to purchase upgrade 'months' instead of automatic subscriptions. Want to upgrade for just 2 months? No problems, simply add 2 Pro months to your shopping cart and you're ready to go! Our store also offers a blended collection of our new products including apparel, mouse pads, hats, tote bags, USB drives and more. 4. New Profile Designs: We have added DOZENS of new profile designs. PRO members now have access to over 40 NEW template designs with many more to come
5. Community Activities: Our brand new "Editors Picks" and spotlight sections will now feature various W-N members and their work. These featured authors and works will be hand selected by the W-N editors! We also have a new contest, poll, and writing challenges going on right now.
6. More Space: We moved the website to bigger, more powerful servers! What does that mean? More space for you to publish your poems & stories and no more down time.

**....FINALLY.....**
We are pleased to announce that the Writers-Network.com myspace page is live and online! We have taken a chance at customizing it to match our look... it certainly doesn't compare to some of the great spaces we've seen here so far but we are proud none the less.
We hope you guys will take the time to check us out regularly. We will be posting news about our community, our free contests and will even be featuring some of our favorite poems and stories written by our members!
Looking forward to getting to know you all better and hopefully making a few new friends
