This is my home church. Bryce and I were so glad we could be a part of this. It's amazing to see what we have all over come through Christ!

Current mood:  hopeful
Aww it's finally Fall! Don't get me wrong I have a lot of fun in the Summer but there is just something about Fall that makes me feel more alert.
I actually start doing things outside. Like this week I pruned trees and planted some mums in our yard. My hands have been shaking for two day from it. I guess those are muscles I don't usually use. And my allergies are paying for it too.

As I was driving this morning I sneezed 12 times in a row (yes I counted) I think that is some kind of record. I also think that sneezing that many times in a row in more of driving hazard than talking on your cell phone while driving. I'm just saying.
Other than that I felt so good this morning and was loving the weather that I went to the local YMCA and joined a running class that was going outside. Now I have done this class before but today they decided we would do something different. Like Oh run 5 miles!!!
I feel really good now that it's over but I seriously thought I was going to pass out on about mile 4, But I pressed on.

Fall is also the time of year that I tend to evaluate my life and where I'm going.
Ok so sometimes that can be more stressful than relaxing. But it's important to do.

Bryce and I have had a very tough year with the loss of two babies and learning to trust God no matter what's going on around us.
Thankfully we have grown closer to each other through all of it and learned so much about our personal walk with God.
God has been so Faithful to hold us up and allow us the freedom to be real with Him about our disappointments and confussion.

We have been reading a book called "The Shack" and I love what the author says about Christians and tragedy. He says something like, "This world is not a  playground where all God's children are safe from harm".
It's so true we live in a fallen world where we are feeling and will always feel the effects of sin around us. That means that good Christians who love God and follow him will feel the effects too.
Now I still stuggle with this one everyday. Because I want to believe that because I'm a Christian and I pray nothing bad will ever happen to me or the ones I love.

In the last year even though I've struggled with "Does prayer really make a difference?" and "But this isn't Fair" I'm still choosing to have Faith and be Hopeful that God does hear my prayers and He only works out of Love.

I'm so thankful for our Family, Church and close friends who have walked beside Bryce and I through all of this and held us up when we had no strength. We love you!

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Singer/songwriter Misty Freeman recently wrapped up vocals for her highly anticipated third solo outing.

Misty's vocals were recorded at GoldenVine Studios in Hendersonville, Tennessee. The album is being produced by Freeman and her father, Darrell Freeman (The Freemans).

Titled What If I'm Right? – the new album features original songs penned mostly by Freeman with Jerry Salley, Zane King, and Bluegrass favorite Kim McLean. Ronny Hinson also contributed a song for the album. The album promises to be more trademark Misty Freeman – a blend of inspirational, country, and alt-folk.

In addition, What If I'm Right? will feature guest vocals from Jason Crabb on "Rise to the Occasion."

Misty said, "This is my third solo recording, and I had never done a duet. Who better to sing with than Jason Crabb? It was a total blast in the studio with him. Our voices are night and day and that's what makes the duet so interesting."

The first single from What If I'm Right? is "Beautiful Mistakes" which was written by Freeman and Zane King. The new song is now making an impact at radio. The song is currently 4 on the Singing News New Releases for the upcoming January 2008 edition of the chart.

"This song ('Beautiful Mistakes') is so encouraging to me personally. Zane and I wrote it based on Romans 8:28 – 'God works all things for the good of those who love him.'"

"Another favorite song of mine is a song I co-wrote with the awesome Kim McLean – 'Cinderella'," mentioned Misty. "It's so different. I've been signing it live and have been so happy that women and little girls alike are being touched by the message."

Misty continued, "I have put so much of my time and heart into this CD. I'm really excited for everyone to hear it."

What If I'm Right? will be available to purchase on Misty's site around Christmas and will be available at retail in mid-January.

Current mood:  sleepy

Well the new cd is coming along great. I have the music recorded for 5 out of my 10 songs . I have wrote 5 songs so far for this recording. It's been so much fun. It's taking a lot longer though. I'm really wanting these songs to be from my heart. I want the listeners to feel like they are there with me going through the same things. I can't give out names just as yet but I will say that I will be doing some duets on this new one. I'm so excited and nervous about that. I'm going to have to really step it up on those songs thats for sure. The Freemans have a new vocal studio and so it's been nice to take our time and relax while recording this go around.

The Freemans are almost done with our CD. Joyce Martin has been working with us on it. It has been a blast. We laugh and goof off way too much but in the midst of all of our craziness we are creating some Awesome sounds. Can't wait for all you to hear it. Oh Caylon is singing on the new one. So that is for sure new and worth getting the cd for that.

I will keep you posted on the cd. I'm going crazy trying to pick the other 5 songs. So pray I choose the right ones. Lots of love!

Current mood:  mellow

Hey Everyone! Well it's Summer time and mine has been wonderful so far. As most of you know I got married in May and it was a Wonderful day. It couldn't have been more perfect.
I took 2 weeks off from the road but came back and have been going non stop since then.

I am writing songs for my new CD and traveling every week. Plus I am recording a new album with the family (The Freemans). So Summer is Busy to say the least.

So have any of you tried anything new this Season? If so, Share. I have been learing how to Wake Board. I tried it last Summer a couple of times and I'm still working on it. Bryce does fancy tricks and I'm lucky to just get out of the water. It's fun and different.
Hope all of you are having a great Summer. Hope to see you all soon some time out on the road.
