Hello all!

I had some unfinished songs and Sonho a Vida was one of them until now! I decided to do little adjustments and publish it!

It was and experimentation with techno/house style. I had fun doing it.

My name is Bruno C. Vellutini but I know myself as NeLaS!

I'm a Biologist, that gets inspired by the amazing phenomenom of life, its beauty, complexity, and emergence. Music is a way of sharing and exposing all that I have lived and learned until now...

I like to make soundtracks for movies, animations, ambient or just for the pleasure of listening...! As a bass player I always liked to hold cool grooves and mix them with melodic lines and funky beats.

Hello there!

To care for someone's curiosity I'll describe my uploaded songs...:

Although I play bass and I'm envolved with music and bands for a long time, the last few months have change my life upon the possibility to do music inside the computer. After discovering the amazing possibilities of implementing sound generator softwares I became an addicted in music creation.

My first finished song was O Garoto Diarreia Mental which is the main theme of a Flash animation written by me and animated by my friend Andr Kanamura. If you read the lyrics along with the song you will have a clue of what it is about... I'll soon put the animation itself here!

Then, seeking for ideas I decided to make a little loop for another Flash character. This time I took a bizarre panda bear created by my friend Pablo Candiani and develop thru the ideas... After having my 30 seconds loop I decided that this song needed more. So what you have on my profile is the extended version of Pindo, o Panda.

Finally, Transition is my last song, I have just uploaded it. The idea was to search and experiment for drum sounds but it turned to be a full song!

I actually have been influenced by Xploding Plastix a lot to do this song. So, who knows them will quickly perceive the influence.

This song is quite complex and I took months to finish it because I was doing everything for the first time! This was my first time sequencing note by note a drum, first time playing cellos, violins and acoustic basses, first time playing around with electronic sounds, first time doing some automation-based effects...

So all this mixed together became a big mix of some brazilian rhythm, drum'n'bass, electronica, and anything else you may think it sounds like.
