In-Store Appearances Feature B.C. Rich Endorser KERRY KING

Kerry King, legendary guitarist for the notorious Thrash Metal band Slayer and a B.C. Rich guitar endorser, will make in-store appearances at select B.C. Rich retailers while on the 2009 Mayhem Tour. The special events are co-sponsored by EMG Pickups.

The tour starts July 10 in Sacramento, Calif., and concludes August 15 in Dallas, Texas. King will visit 11 retail locations, where he will talk with fans and sign autographs.

Kerry King has played B.C. Rich guitars since the early 1980s. In January, B.C. Rich introduced four new Signature guitars created in collaboration with the guitarist. Each new instrument offers finishes, features and tones approved by King himself.

The Mayhem Tour will feature Slayer on the Main Stage along with co-headliner Marilyn Manson.

CANNIBAL CORPSE's 'Evisceration Plague' Cracks Billboard Top 100

Feb. 12, 2009, Hebron, Kentucky. Cannibal Corpse's new album "Evisceration Plague" debuted at 66 on the Billboard 200 chart and has sold 9,600 copies in the first week of the US release. That is about 25% more that the last album's first week US sales, proving that death metal is alive alive! Cannibal Corpse's guitarist Pat O'Brien can be seen on stage playing B.C. Rich V's. "Evisceration Plague" is available as a limited-edition digipack including a bonus track and bonus DVD, jewelcase CD and on limited splatter vinyl.

Top Death Metal Songs of All Time.

February 6, 2009, Hebron, Kentucky. B.C. Rich is proud to announce that two out of the top three “Best Death Metal Songs of All Time” as voted on by fans in a survey found in Metal Hammer Magazine have B.C. Rich guitars in common.

Cannibal Corpse’s “Hammer Smashed Face” was voted number 1. Although not appearing on the original recording, Cannibal Corpse currently features Pat O’Brien on guitar. Pat plays B.C. Rich V guitars.

Death’s iconic “Crystal Mountain” was voted in at number 3. Death featured the late, legendary Chuck Schuldiner on guitar. Chuck played many B.C. Rich guitars during his short but poignant career; though best known for his jet black Stealth guitar. B.C. Rich currently offers a handcrafted and import Chuck Schuldiner Tribute Stealth guitars.
