Since I totally missed my July 27th deadline for finishing Tiki Bar: The Animated Series, I have given myself a real, NON-NEGOTIABLE deadline of October 1st. I know I can do it!

I've resumed audio editing, which should leave me finished with that in a couple of days. In the interim, I spent some time last night finishing adding the first round of content to the four characters that I chose to have MySpace profiles. If you could, please add them to your friends list, leave comments, and send bulletins to your friends asking them to do the same.

The characters:

Thanks, and I'm sure you'll start getting character-related bulletins from them... not too many, but just enough to give you a taste of what each character is like.

I give you this:

You Are Rocky Road Ice Cream

Unpredictable and wild, you know how to have fun.

You're also a trendsetter who takes risks with new things.

You know about the latest and greatest - and may have invented it!

You are most compatible with vanilla ice cream.

Your Five Factor Personality Profile

Extroversion:

You have medium extroversion.

You're not the life of the party, but you do show up for the party.

Sometimes you are full of energy and open to new social experiences.

But you also need to hibernate and enjoy your "down time."

Conscientiousness:

You have low conscientiousness.

Impulsive and off the wall, you don't take life too seriously.

Unfortunately, you sometimes end up regretting your snap decisions.

Overall, you tend to lack focus, and it's difficult for you to get important things done.

Agreeableness:

You have low agreeableness.

Your self interest comes first, and others come later, if at all.

In general, you feel that people are not to be trusted.

And you're skeptical that anyone else really feels differently.

Neuroticism:

You have low neuroticism.

You are very emotionally stable and mentally together.

Only the greatest setbacks upset you, and you bounce back quickly.

Overall, you are typically calm and relaxed - making others feel secure.

Openness to experience:

Your openness to new experiences is high.

In life, you tend to be an early adopter of all new things and ideas.

You'll try almost anything interesting, and you're constantly pushing your own limits.

A great connoisseir of art and beauty, you can find the positive side of almost anything.

When I cleared all my info off my old work laptop, it synchronized with my Plaxo account, which proceeded to delete all the contacts off that account, which in turn deleted all my contacts out of my home address book, and finally, off my Treo. At this point, the only two people I can call are Apple Computer and myself.

This, my friends, is where you come in. If you know you were in my address book or even if you think you should be... please send me your contact information!

I'd prefer if you went to plaxo.com and sent me your contact information through there. That way if you update your info, I automatically get it, and vice versa if I update mine. Once you set up a Plaxo account (or if you already have one), just add hello AT jeremyfuksa DOT com (replace the AT and DOT with @ and .) as a contact. Then, do an update wizard and send me your contact information.

Don't want to do Plaxo? That's fine. Just email all your information to hello AT jeremyfuksa DOT com and I'll enter it by hand.

Man, I feel like such an idiot for deleting all my contacts... but it just shows that even computer dorks pull dumbass stuff.

Tim's blog talks about how the Dane Cook Podcast (which is nothing more than glorified voicemails) is number one on the iTunes podcast list, while Tim and Eric's video podcast isn't even on the top 100.

I've enjoyed the T&E podcast for a few weeks now, and I highly recommend it.

So, a couple of weeks ago I wrote an article called Open Source Creativity over on my official blog, the martini shaker*. This weekend I found that I was quoted on another creativity blog in an article entitled Mosh Pit As Innovation Model. According to author Kathy Sierra my site is apparently "wonderful-go-read-it-now", which scares the hell out of me because if people actually think that I have half a clue about the things I rant about, well... I'd say that the advertising industry as a whole is totally screwed :)

My site traffic is way up, I actually have a readership beyond my immediate friends over there, and am getting messages from people saying that "they're a fan" of my writing.

So, that leads me to believe that I am on my way to being a B-list Internet celebrity. Pretty soon I will get to enjoy the privilege of someone making a parody video about me on YouTube or some other crap that will cement my place in an ephemeral history that will matter to only about 100 people.

Yes!
