in a weird mix of avoidance and boredom sprinkled with a dash of creative impulse, i have recorded
and posted a new track. it's been almost two and a half years since i posted anything here! i've
been busy with school and work, work and school - creative stuff that doesn't have to do with historical analysis or theory has taken the back seat. and, well, my guitar needs new strings.

so anyway... my new track is "miss fix it." i hope you like it.
maybe i will make another song soon. summer break is coming.
perhaps it's time to revisit obelia...

it's been awhile! i'm not sure what inspired the new track "broken shell," other than wanting to make something that sounded like the ocean and something a bit more abstract than other electronic music i've created. the sample's from "tale of two cities." enjoy.

i was messing around this afternoon and came up with something new. "wild" has been uploaded for your listening pleasure. enjoy. ps - the sun came out today. this may not seem like big news, but it was very very welcome after weeks of rain and snow.

there are ideas brewing... just not enough time to record them, but hopefully i'll have something new up soon. i've been thinking about found sounds and samples from vinyl and dripping water and making some messy beats. i am an amateur, for sure, but i have big ideas. feel free to drop me a line. i always like friendly email.
