USofA Pageants is the premiere Pageant System in the Country and winning a prestigious national title within this System definitely does more than just boosts the career of the titleholder. As much of a cliche as it sounds, it changes their life.
I am honored to have been so warmly welcomed as the newest member of National Pageant Staff this past May during the Miss Gay USofA Pageant.
Jerry Bird, Founder/Chairman & CEO of USofA Pageants has trusted me with the position of "Executive Assistant to the National Titleholder". My duties include coordinating the travel arrangements of the National Titleholders as they tour across the Nation promoting the System and attending Prelims.
In addition to the above named gentleman, I'd like to recognize our reigning Miss Gay USofA, Kara Young-Ross. I have known Kara since she was just a "drag princess" (LOL!) and she has grown into quite a talented entertainer. I am excited about getting to work so closely with her during her reign this year.
If you've never been to the Miss USofA Pageant, you definitely need to put it on your "to-do" list for 2009. It is very professionally produced pageant for female impersonators that is held in Dallas, TX during the last week of May.
In addition to the Miss Gay USofA Pageant, USofA Pageants also produces the following National Contests:
Miss Gay USofA At-Large (for the full-figured competitors)
Miss Gay USofA Classic (for the more-matured competitors)
Mister Gay USofA MI (for the Drag Kings who are Male Illusionists)
Mr. Gay USofA (for the MALE competitors who don't wear gowns)
Mr. Gay USofA At-Large (for the "full-figured" MALE competitors)
