Inflowential participated in a Barack the Vote Event on Labor Day.

The campaign decided to send one of their supporters that has spread the message since day 1...  Kal Penn.

Kal Penn is famous for his roles in The Van Wilder and The Harold and Kumar movies.

Here is one of his Youtube vids about his hard work for the campaign:

From Left to Right:  DJ ill Digitz, Charlie Smarts, Kal Penn aka "Kumar" (Top), A-Did (Bottom), Bender, Foolery, Halo, Cesar Comanche (Background), Kyle "Style" Phelps, Yamil Camacho (Background).

You prolly noticed that something was missing from this photo... Tab-One.  He was running late on his journey back from the mountains.

Tab was Burning up the Roadways in order to make the set.  We were playing "Whirlwind", when all of a sudden in the distance, you could see Tab coming.  Halo passed the mic as smooth as could be and the show didnt miss a beat.

Kal had to leave shortly after we took the picture with him.  Thats too Bad, we were looking forward to passing "the time" with him.

The Cary Obama Headquarters has called upon Inflowential to help make a change, and we wanna do just that.

There are over 200,000 unregistered voters in NC.  We need to get people registered, Its Important.

The Cary Lazy Daze Festival is a huge event with some 60,000 in attendance  last year.  We will be there this year at the HQ to make it do what it do.  Come on down so in November we can Rock the Vote.

Inflowential was in the News and Observer recently.  David Menconi talked about how we are one of the better bands in the area, and the Obama show is one people need to attend.

After the guide tracks were completed, it was only a matter of me going back over every track and playing all my guitar parts to the click track and matching it up with the structure of each song. That only took 10 hours a day for 2 days. I'm exhausted.

Now that my parts are basically done, Bender started layin down the groovy basslines last night and Adid begins recording the beatbox today.

Day 2 in the Studio...

First off... HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLIE!!!! For those of you that dont know, it was Charlie's birthday tonight at midnight so tell him happy birthday.

So we finished with the guide tracks tonight and listened to the whole unfinished album all the way through and I gotta say, even though all the tracks were unmixed with absolutely no effects, I can tell this album is going to be something special. I'm starting the day off tomorrow around noon time with going back to every track and fixing and perfecting all the guitar and keyboard parts... then Bender is coming in and doing all the same to the bass parts. I'm glad I get to redeem myself for some sloppy playing... hahaaaa, thats the magic of the studio ladies and gentlemen.

So as promised, here are a few photos of what we've had the pleasure of doing the past couple days...

^ Neuman... for mic'ing Adam's beatbox rig... I almost wish it wasn't a microphone, it would make it less scary...a head shaped microphone, who would have thunk it?

Paul and Charlie... twins.

these tracks may not look like much now... but just wait.

Good times.
