On the brink of my rise as one of Hip-Hop's freshest and newest up and comers, I decided to link up with ICTHipHop.com, Naked City Magazine and CD Tradepost to bring you a live show like no other! Along with the band "polarOPPOSITEbear", we're going to be delivering one of the best live shows in my hometown of Wichita, Kansas on May 2nd!!!!

Rock Island Live (behind Emerson Biggins) will be the venue to be at on Saturday, May 2nd at 9pm! So, here's another look behind the scenes as me and Seven work on my new album, "The Kid With The Green Backpack". While I take a small vocal break and Jace lays down live guitars for the album, I start going through "gaming withdrawals". LOL! Check it out...

What's going on Flyborgs & Flyber Girls all over the world!!??

So, I've been getting a bunch of messages about future tour dates and information about the stops on the tour, but I am  to announce that I had to drop out as an artist on the "Happy Holidays" tour.

As many of you know, I am in the middle of finishing my upcoming album, "The Kid With The Green Backpack", and if I planned to actually release when I want to release it (late Jan/early Feb) then I have to put some final touches on the release, as well as finish artwork and mastering for the album. So, me and Seven decided that we would leave the tour and get back to work on the album, so that we are ready to do our own promo tour in the middle of February. So, not to worry, we will be back out there VERY SOON. I apologize for everybody that was looking forward to coming out to our future dates.

BUT...in my absence (and growing XBOX addiction) has spawned a few other creative projects that you can look forward to as I return to the studio next week! I am currently working on a project called, "Drop.Dead.Famous." I won't give away details yet. But, I am 6 songs in so far and.......THIS PROJECT IS BEYOND AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just wait and see.

Also, look forward to the release of the official Fly Boy Club album in December, exclusively on iTunes and Rhapsody!!!! Wichita's music scene is rich with independent artists. Bands like polaroppositebear and Black Gasoline have been staples in the rock and alternative scenes, but very little can be said about hip hop in Wichita. All that is about to change. Meet Wichita's best-kept secret, XV.

Born Donovan Johnson, XV began taking his recording career seriously at the early age of 15, which helped him develop his current moniker. XV's style and subject matter are reminiscent of Lupe Fiasco and early N.E.R.D. With freestyles over MGMT and Juniper 1 instrumentals, XV is far from the cookie cutter, run-of-the-mill rapper.

He's made a name for himself as a relatable "every man's MC," by rapping about nerdy topics such as comic books, his love for porn and video games; all with the swagger of the coolest kid in school.

Although barely recognized in the streets of Wichita, XV has garnered national attention recently with his new mixtape, "The Square in The Circle," as well as his 40 Days 40 Nights series, in which XV released a new song every day and every night for 40 consecutive days.

XV is gearing up for a 39 city tour with Kansas City favorite Mac Lethal, as well as prepping both his solo record "The Kid With The Green Backpack" and his group effort "The Fly Boy Club" with his cohorts Bling, Sez Batters and in house producer Seven.
