Current mood:  happy
she considers herself a collector of pine cones
she is in preschool and has her first boyfriend already
she likes to call lullabies, rollerbies
she is starting to write her name with her left hand
she loves her new (flyaway) bangs
she notices anytime i color my nails and always wants to do the same
she loves snuggling and keeping warm
she enjoys walking around downtown disney
she is just as bad as her mommy and daddy when it comes to wanting everything at borders and barnes and noble
she likes taking walks around the woods (aka the elementary school across the street)
and today she is four years old...

happy birthday natalie jane....i love you forever....

"When I speak of home, I speak of the place where---in default of a better---those I love are gathered together; and if that place were a gypsy's tent, or a barn, I should call it by the same good name notwithstanding."
-Charles Dickens

Lift up your heads, ye mighty gates;
Behold, the King of glory waits;
The King of kings is drawing near;
The Savior of the world is here!

A Helper just He comes to thee,
His chariot is humility,
His kingly crown is holiness,
His scepter, pity in distress.

O blest the land, the city blest,
Where Christ the Ruler is confessed!
O happy hearts and happy homes
To whom this King in triumph comes!

Fling wide the portals of your heart;
Make it a temple, set apart
From earthly use for heaven's employ,
Adorned with prayer and love and joy.

Redeemer, come, with us abide;
Our hearts to Thee we open wide;
Let us Thy inner presence feel;
Thy grace and love in us reveal.

Thy Holy Spirit lead us on
Until our glorious goal is won;
Eternal praise, eternal fame
Be offered, Savior, to Thy Name!

"i am rich today with autumn's gold,
all that my covetous hands can hold...
oh, who could find a dearth of bliss
with autumn glory such as this!"
