We're proud to announce that our demo for "Golden Boy" has been used in How I Got Lost, the fabulous feature film debut of Joe Leonard, starring Aaron Stanford and Rosemarie DeWitt. It is located in the first act of the film, as appropriately enough, background music in a New York bar.

We're amazed our little demo is now associated with such a great film. The film is currently screening at festivals nation wide. Please check it out at...

or search for "How I Got Lost" on facebook...

Additionally, one of our great friends and collaborators the Ari Band is also featured on the soundtrack.

Cheers

p.s. Golden Boy is now back on our player.

Who By Fire RIP 2006-2007 (Reunion Tour Scheduled for 2018)

'tis true the Who By Fire has been unanimously extinguished.

I'd love to spill the beans and go VH1 about all the tenuous personal BS, but I'm going to be bigger than that. I'll just be all press release... and say it was "irreconcilable personal and creative differences..."

That and I'll sleep better knowing that I don't play in band named... "Who By Fire". I still can't believe we settled on that.

So... If you're reading this you're probably one of the folks who came to our shows and parties, are a member of an awesome band that played with us, or helped the band in some capacity. And we really appreciated it.

Cheers,
Dominic

ps. I believe Gregg, Ryan, and I will be doing something in the future. Cause we're boys like that. Let us know if you want to j-j-j-jam.

Current mood:  accomplished
This weekend we had the great opportunity to record at City Sound in Manhattan. This is a studio where I (Dominic) used to work at a few years ago. Like many NYC recording studios, City Sound has just shut its doors due to skyworcketing real estate prices. It wil literally be completely destroyed (by chain-saws and sledgehammers) within a few weeks. Our session was literally the last the studio will ever have....

We setup and got sounds on Saturday. There was just enough gear left for us to get some killer sounds. Ryan and Gregg tracked bass and drums on Sunday for 9 tracks with click tracks and all - a most impressive task. I captured some of the action below.

Subscribe to the blog to stay tuned for more highlights detailing our progress of recording... whatever it is we're recording.
