The second SOLAR album, as yet untitled, is almost complete.

For the second album, John Van Loon of  Dark Territory  joins SOLAR and brings his incredibly haunting vocals to the mix. The results are nothing short of breath taking.

The direction continues down the rymthic and atmospheric paths.
Find on the player a preview of the release, "Salvation" and "Heaven".

A big thanks to those of you who purchased "A One Room World" ...

What began as a clearing ground for the first and second ANGELTHEORY albums developed into a full blown project.

SOLAR began it's life in Nov 2004, traces of this style can also be found in my earlier works, specifically the FINLAND STATION project (1998).

When I began writting I was clear that I wanted the project to be an instrumental one, therefore providing a distinction from ANGELTHEORY.

Musically dark, and atmospheric, boardering on ambient at times. The first album was done within the space of a month, not over analysing the material, just letting it flow. I believe this is quite evident in the final product. The pieces flow, and seem effortless, and yet incredibly powerful.

In the future I will looking at presenting this project in a live enviroment. Perhaps an old movie theatre, with accompaning visuals.

The first album, "A One Room World" will be made availble in 2006.
