Hi there!

The first Plastilina Records compilation is out now! It is called Has My Heart Gone to Sleep? and it includes our song Rucksack. It also includes tracks by Hi-Life Companion, Twig, Kawaii, Amida, Hari and Aino, Bluetrain, Stars in Coma, Shoot Charlie, Second-Hand Furniture, Indurain, Annemarie, The Bridal Shop and Soda Caffe.

You can order it or find more information at the Plastilina website.

Also, our second album Home Is a Four-Letter Word will be finished quite soon and it is expected to be out by Plastilina at some point (early we hope) next year! We will upload some new tracks as soon as the album's mixed.

Hi there!

Our E.P. on Cloudberry Records "When the Sky Looks So Gray" is now sold out!
Thanks for the support to anyone who bought it:)
Some of the E.P. tracks will appear on the second album that hopefully will be out early next year.

Also, 'When the Sky Looks so Gray" song can be found on Indietracks compilation which was released yesterday by Make Do And Mend Records. It comes as a 2 CD set and features 45 (!) of the bands and artists who are playing at this year's festival on 26/27th July. It can be ordered via Make do And Mend Records website and it costs only £6 including p&p.

The Gentle Invasion presents a Pre-Indietracks special at Henry's Cellar Bar, Edinburgh on Saturday 12 July.
We'll be sharing the bill with the brrrrrillant Amida (Plastilina Records) from Manchester and the amazzzing Just Joans (WeePOP! Records) from Motherwell, Scotland!
The poster looks like this:

And here's the Indietracks Festival poster:

We'd love to see you at one of these gigs. We're  really very excited about this.

So our next E.P. will be released by Cloudberry Records on 21st of December!

It has no title because we would like it to be called just the Cloudberry E.P...

It will include three new songs (you can listen to one of them on our profile) that I believe they are the best we've recorded so far.

The Occasional Flickers, for this recording, were (in alphabetical order):

Malcolm Benzie (violin)
Giorgos Bouras (vocals, guitar, bass, glockenspiel, organ, melodica, tambourine)
Richard Kass (drums)
Ola Rek (vocals)
Sergios Voudris (trumpet, autoharp, farfisa organ)

Ola also did a great illustration that will be used as a cover!

All the best,
Giorgos

PS: Sorry to Sergios. If this post was written  in Greek he would be the first on the list....

Scattered Songs is out now by Peru's fantastic Plastilina Records! It took us sometime but we think it was really worth.

Soon it will be available at some of your favourite mailorder and, hopefully, some Greek record shops.

Until then, you can order it directly from
Plastilina Records.

At the moment  the Occasional Flickers are working (hard!) on a single for another great label,
Cloudberry Records. We believe that it's going to be our best recording so far.

More news to come!

Take care,
g
