we had a great show last night in Huntsville Al.  thanks to all that came out last night.  it was fun to watch ya'll have a good time.  thanks to Jimmy and Doug.  ya'll were right on following  songs you've never heard. they actually sounded perfect.

We had a great week up in Canada visiting Paula's family.  we celebrated Lisa's, Emmetts, and Sam's bdays. it was a great week. Surprisingly a little on the cool side. It can be pretty hot up there in the summer, but they've had a cooler than normal summer (global warming?)  as we have had in Nashville this summer. (one of the coolest summers I can remember here in Nashville, not that i've been here that long),but i digress.
We had a beautiful weekend at Lake of the Woods. one of the most beautiful places i've ever seen.
it's good to be home.

hello out there, hope everyone had a great weekend .  I definitely did.  we played out in Manhattan Kansas at the Country Stampede.. what a great event! In every way possible, from the event staff to all the fans, it was a great experience.  To all those that came out to see us, thank you so much for being such fun and for making us feel so welcome. we enjoyed the day with you.  We look forward to next year and see you again.

Another beautiful day in Paradise. now if the weather would stay ... just ... like.. this. 70 degrees and Sunny. aaahh.   with all the rain we've had lately it's very nice to have some dry days.  ok enough of the weather forecast.  we're still moving stuff from the pod into the house. the master bath is almost finished. so we can finally move into the master bedroom.  it's looking great though. and speaking of great
The video for "Where's a Sunset" is beautiful.  we had a great time filming, my friend James King (director) did a great job again.  we've been editing fo the past week . getting it all just right.  I can't wait for you all to see it. please let me know what you think when you do.  it'll be airing on GAC pretty soon.  I'll let everyone know when it does.
now it's time to do some electric work.

hello out there,
hope all is well for you.  it's a great day here in the greater Nashville area. finally the sun is shining. I had a great day yesterday finishing up a photo shoot with Glen Rose. great photographer and cool guy.  I can't wait to see the shots.  On Tuesday a GAC film crew came over to the house and filmed me, Paula and Sam for a GAC minute spot that will air next month. it was very cool and a lot of fun, The crew came over in the morning and just filmed us most of the day. We barbequed ribs (on camera). it's funny how odd it feels to stir beans with a camera on you. I can't wait to see that as well.  Over all it's been a great week. in between all the video/photoshoot excitement i've been at the 'broken house' staining and tiling. we have to be in the new house by May1 so i'm on crunch time.
aaahh it's good to be busy. sure makes life exciting!
now it's back up to the attic to pull stuff down

I had a great day yesterday shooting a video for my song "Where's a Sunset".
we had a great day at the Belcourt Theatre in Nashville and on the streets near Hillsboro Village.  James King, my friend who shot "Little Book of Matches", directed this one as well. He's extremely talented and you'll be hearing about him in the future.  It was such and easy and fun experience. we're all friends so it makes fpr a relaxed environment. I can't wait for everyone to see it.

What a great day! I've been selected as a finalist for The Next GAC Star!
I'm extremely happy and excited, and looking forward to showing everyone what I can do.  We're off to Nashville to film for the next rounds. very cool!

Hello everyone,         Hope the summer is treating you well and a great time was had by all during the 4th of July weekend. (nice when it falls on a Friday.)
