Artist of the Month Contest Song Review
If your like me, then you'll find yourself reading the lyrics before the piece starts.... I found myself expecting some sort of rock anthem..... How I was wrong, this is better! The vocals are superb! The singer takes the line of making these words enter your mind, spin around you heart and then exit somewhere between your toes. I found myself sitting here in awe. Such a beautiful masterpiece! This is designed for anyone that loves great music!

Song Review

One of my favorite artists and songs made by him! The lyrics are great and the music is awesome because I like listening to ballads from heavy bands! They make ballads sound dark and gothic but also make it sound sweet and soft and I just zone out to this type of music!

Song Review
No Fallback Plan do that 'Stabbing Westward' thing pretty well with their track "War Bride", an angry, unsettling and accusatory that points fingers at people that don't understand that they don't understand that . . . well you get the point.

Very dark and meaningful lyrics! The vocals match the mood of the song and the instruments are unique. The tone is most fitting,

OOh! these lyrics were vicious. I just luv wat an artist says, and ur theme waz nice! And there's alwayz places u can improve in, but I'm not 2 much of a critique.

Song Review

I like the haunting vocals and the rageful tone throughout the song. My biggest problem is that it sounds like ive heard it before... like this is a pretty cliche genre and like a lot of the famous music these days is exactly like this. however, i LOVE the part that starts at 2:30, the guitar part is great. also, your drummer is great i love that too. your production is very high quality as well.

Song Review

The singing in this song is mediocre but the musicianship overall is great. The mix could be a little bit louder but it's still an ok mix...better than others i've heard on here. The lyrics really help the vocals stand out a bit more and they r truly original. The arrangement is decent and pretty general tending to the typical chorus and verse.

Compelling lyrics and soundscape however the mix is a little muddy. I don't hear the "hit" here, but a great start. This genre of music has matured to mainstream radio and if this band must reach deeper to compete with their peers.

"The Kindle Of Hades"

I would never say that I know what you've been through
If I could, your burden, I'd carry for you
But life isn't fair, and the ones who say they will stay are never there

But I will always be

I'm so sorry, I don't have the words, my glowing ember
If you must burn, I will not return, without you
I'll stay by your side, I'll sleep in the fire
However much time, it takes to make things right
We'll rebuild our lives, underneath the orange lights
Together we'll be
the kindle of Hades

Apathetic mornings you medicate
to sleep in the afternoon
But I swear, your escape
I will find a way
I won't let you reside
you fall from the high

It's hard to not reprobate God
as I watch the one I knew evanesce
But I would be wrong, misguided, I just want this
to not be what it is

I would never lie to you and tell you everything will be fine
The bottom
The bottle
They are no place to reside
Fucking life isn't fair, but I won't let you drown

If all I can do for you
Is help you kindle the flames
Than in my arms
here we will both
whither a fucking way

Is your myspace or .com site boring to you? If your in a band and trying to get heard, the first step is getting people to notice you. Plain, and bland sites such as Myspace profiles get est. 40% less plays than eye popping sites, even when the band is not exactly easy listening. If your going to put yourself out there, you got to put your best foot forward in everything you do, and make great 1st impressions....by grabbing attentions with both your music, and your home pages.

Looking for cd cover designs, or any photo manipulation? Describe your project, we can make it happen.

I've been doing design work for some time now, and can pretty much bring any of your ideas to life. The programs I currently use are:

-Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended w/ After Effects
-Adobe Flash CS3
-Adobe Dreamworks
-Swishmax ( for simple flash)
-Micromedia studio flash (also included dreamworks and fireworks)

You can see examples of my work on this site, a few of my top friends, and my personal site (myspace.com/entertheblindspot). And some photos I did randomly in my pictures folder. These sites are mildly complex, but can do much more than what is displayed on sites if needed.

Prices depend on project. I'm very reasonable when it comes to charging. I know there are websites out there that charge 1500 or more for a site design. I personally think that is crazy, my prices usually run between 75-250. Designs aren't finished until you approve them, so however long it takes, we will get it right.

Contact me here, my site, at nofallbackplan@hotmail.com, or by phone 4196177078.

Hope to hear from you
Thanks for reading,
Westen

BUCYRUS -- Wes Ferris is making some changes.

"Most of the recording No Fallback Plan has done has been studio-produced, and (it) is currently a solo project. Now, I feel it's time to tour, so I am in need of the best unsigned musicians in the area," Ferris said.

"I want the best of the best that I can find. I am looking for good, seasoned musicians with good gear. I want everything, a full band and will be holding auditions."

Ferris, of Bucyrus, has many things to be excited about.

"I am credited with the design of the cover for the 'Just Talents Volume 2' album, along with music credits, which has won many awards," Ferris said.

No Fallback Plan's "Break the Broken" is one of the tracks on "Just Talents Volume 1" and "Warbride" is one of the tracks on "Just Talents Volume 2." The second volume will be available this summer. "Volume 1" took home many awards from the Los Angeles Music Awards, including Reverend Zen for Artist of the Year 2007 and Shay Dillon's nomination for best female vocalist.

No Fallback Plan cut a deal with ResearchMusic several months ago.

"Since the conception of the first 'Just Talents' project, ResearchMusic has been working to bring together as many talented people as possible throughout all stages of project production," said Michael Peckmann of ResearchMusic. "We asked Wes to contribute an idea for the 'Just Talents Volume 2' album cover. His sketch was an instant hit with our management, and we then cast a model in Brazil to complete his vision.

"After the photo shoot, Wes did the post-production work for the album cover. He is a great designer, an excellent musician and producer, with impressive ability, vision, and determination. He has a bright future in the music industry."

No Fallback Plan has many fans already.

"We have a fan-base of over 10,000 fans, which is incredible," Ferris said.

Ferris encourages area musicians to contact him.

"I am ready to go live and want to get the best talent in the area to go on tour with me," Ferris said.

Ferris can be contacted by email at nofallbackplan@hotmail.com, or visit myspace.com/nofallbackplan.
