It just came to light that Dawn Wells (Mary Anne from Gilligan's Island) was arrested back in October (on her birthday no less!) for marijuana possesion and apparent DUI.
OK, i'm not making apologies for drunk/high driving, but c'mon. This is Mary Anne (on her 69th birthday) we're talking about here! How about a warning, and the cop driving the poor thing home!
Is this our tax dollars at work, or something like that?...
Oh, and the car was searched by a Deputy named HALE!!! As in Alan Hale, the Skipper!! What are the odds?

A couple of co-workers of mine both saw Elizabethtown this weekend, and both proceeded to trash it unmercifully, as if it was the worst movie they'd ever seen.
While the film has some flaws (some scenes are way too lenghty and talky), I thought it was great overall and packed a real Cameron Crowe-patented emotional punch at the end.
