Frank has teamed up with Kit Kat to launch a special 'Battle of the Bands' competition to find new, exciting musical talent.

A series of auditions will take place across the country in order to find the 'next big thing'.

Speaking about the competition, Frank said: “It’s a talent contest. You can be a solo artist; you can be an electronic outfit; you can be a band. The most important thing is that it's power to the audience, it’s not a text or phone affair where the voters are going to get charged.

"There will be six shows at six different university unions, everywhere from Hull to London Metropolitan. The idea is that anyone can come along and do a show; kinda like an open mic night but with all the facilities available to deal with any kind of act."

Participating unions include Hull, Newcastle, London Metropolitan, Salford, Nottingham Trent and Plymouth - the first round will take place on November 5th.

The overall winner of the contest will receive £3000 and a masterclass with Frank.

“They are calling it a ‘masterclass’ but really I’ll be hanging out with the band and showing them a few tricks of the trade," he explained.

To enter and find out more information about the competition simply email a track or link to battleofthebands@frankpr.it.

A few months back, when the weather was warm and the days were long - Frankmusk went into the studio with the likes of Tinchy Stryder, Pixie Lott, Kid British, N-Dubz and others to record a roof-raising version of The Killers' anthemic 'All These Things That I've Done' and its classic refrain "I've got soul but I'm not a soldier..."

They called themselves The Young Soul Rebels and it was all in aid of the charity War Child, working tirelessly to help children who are victims of war, and in particular the growing numbers of child soldiers around the world.

As of this coming Monday (October 19th) the single is yours to own - so not only can you get a fantastic track but you can help give some hope to a child who has never known any.

Click here to order from Recordstore where the first 200 copies will be signed by Frank himself.
