This past
July Angela Eve created with her art collective (Image Collective) a major
Speak Easy outdoor stage at the Rothbury Music Festival in The Midwest that
draw over 50,000 people. This major production stage they created became an
extremely dynamic interactive art installation/performance staging area in the
Sherwood Forest with an explosive Eve’s Parlor multi-media burlesque show with
Angela Eve headlining. This past August Angela Eve was a featured by Fangoria Magazine, LA
Times, Hollywood Today and Fox News for her performance at
Vampire Con in Los Angeles as Vampirella. In November 2008 Angela Eve was a featured performer at The
Dublin Burlesque Ball in Ireland and The Holiday Burlesque Revue in London. For
two years she was a featured international act at The London Burlesque Festival
and for 2 years running she has also been the headliner for the Contemporary
Arts Center in New Orleans show “ Bourbon and Burlesque”, and recently a
featured performer at The Miss Exotic World showcase in Las Vegas. She travels
regularly to perform in a variety of acts and creates art across the nation and
abroad but focus regularly in Chicago and New Orleans.....

She is the creator and driving force of Eve’s
Parlor Burlesque, achieving a great level of success in Chicago since 2004. Her
show has been featured in most Chicago publications; Angela Eve also graced the
cover of the Arts & Events section of The Chicago Reader for her “Bad Girl
Rock Revue“ show that debuted on Ozz Fest. Angela Eve and Eve’s Parlor
burlesque was a touring act on the Ozz Fest rock tour in select Midwest dates. Angela Eve first showed up on Ozz
Fest several years prior with her own line of body adornment, costumes and
jewelry that were created to be wholesaled and sold at major music festivals
while touring. This lead to creating a sideshow act for Ozz Fest that grew into
her full burlesque show. Her show toured for several years with Ozz Fest while being highlighted in Rolling Stone and USA Today.....

Collective is an art collective that she and her partner Anastasios Ketsios
created in collaboration with numerous other artists they work with; Mike
O’Connor, Sonya Sedlachiek and Pat Vass are core members. They have worked on a
variety of many groundbreaking art/burlesque events. The Elysian Ball one of
their projects from this past Spring transformed a 10,000 sq. ft. loft space in
Chicago’s West Loop into a circus-like environment combining visual art with
burlesque and highlighted over 30 acts and drew over 400 people. Orchestrated
as a modern interpretation of a classic speakeasy concept, this event showcased
a well-curated variety of erotic-based performances in conjunction with
interactive installations, fashion exhibits and video art. The Elysian Ball was
highlighted in Critics picks in Time-out Chicago and Metro Mix. ....

In the spring of 2008 Angela Eve founded Chicago’s first
burlesque festival “Angela Eve’s
Twisted Tassel Burlesque Festival“ co-produced with Flesh Tones Burlesque.
Twisted Tassel is a full-fledged burlesque celebration that encompasses five
weeks and featured over eighty acts, selling out most dates. The production
receives much critical acclaim from such publications as The Chicago Tribune,
Time-out Chicago, Ur Chicago, as well as being profiled and featured on Metro
Mix and Chicago Public Radio.....

Asides from her
demanding burlesque/performance career she creates a collection of artwork that
include elements of erotic/burlesque photography, paintings and installation
art. The last 3 years she has been
living between Chicago and New Orleans working on a published photo documentary
project with artist Anastasios Ketsios. Home This Was is a developed
narrative of post Hurricane Katrina effects on families and places beginning 7
days after Katrina landed up to August 2008. ....
