Hey RIAD fans,

We've achieved Step 1 (getting chosen to battle it out Nov 12) on the way to an opening spot w/ SHINEDOWN @ the 930 CLUB on Dec 2. Step 2 is winning the battle, and for that, we'll need YOUR SUPPORT. Here's your mission, if you choose to accept it...

Step 1: Get to the Midtown Loft, Third Floor (1219 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20036) early so you can be sure to get in.

Step 2: Scream for RIAD as loud as you can so we can open for Shinedown!

The Nov 12 show is FREE (although donations at the door for Operation Homefront are appreciated), it's 21+, and it's co-presented by On Tap Magazine. Everything we've done w/ On Tap has been awesome, so expect the same here- no... expect MORE!

Hey,

We're psyched to be playing our first full-band shows in Mass! We'll be at Harpers Ferry tonight (8pm doors & we're on second around 10pm) and at Fired Up @ Westfield State College tomorrow night (10pm showtime). Although we're a DC band, Jay and Ali are from New England, so we're expecting a great crowd at both! Hope you're part of it!! :)

Hey folks,

We want to thank Washington Post writer C. Woodrow Irvin for writing a sweet article about yours truly! It's featured in this past Thursday's (3/5) paper, but if you've already tossed that, you can read the article at...

Hey guys 'n' gals,

We played 98Rock's live Noise in the Basement show @ Fletchers in Baltimore back on Jan 12th. Well, it's already leant positive results b/c we were selected as Baltimore's #1 rock station's BAND OF THE MONTH! We're obviously thrilled, and especially honored as a band based outside of Baltimore.

We've not only secured frequent primetime airplay (as well as airplay on Matt Davis' Sunday night Noise in the Basement radio show, which focuses on the local scene), but we're heading to 98Rock for a LIVE IN-STUDIO appearance on AFTERNOON DRIVE w/ Stash next Tues 2/10 (5:30-7pm). We'd love it if you listened in (97.9FM), and even more if you called in (1-800-767-1098).

As we've said before and will never stop saying... Thanks for all the support, RIAD fans. Couldn't do much of anything w/out you!

Hey Kids!

I can't believe we haven't played the blog-game since Sept. 21st..  We've been dropping the collective blog-ball lately, but don't think it's for lack of blog-worthy activity.. but rather we have so much going on there has been little time for blogging.  At any rate, let the blogging commence!

First things first, we are so stoked to be playing 98 ROCK's "Noise in the Basement" Local Music Showcase at Fletcher's in Baltimore tonight!  We were actually supposed to be in-studio on 98Rock (97.9FM) last night, but DJ (and Local Music Guru) Matt Davis was feeling a little under the weather (get well soon buddy!).  Worry not though, we have been promised a rain-check on our 98 Rock in-studio appearance..  We'll keep you mucho informed.

In other exciting news... on Tuesday we're back in the recording studio to tie up the few remaining loose ends before the album gets sent off to mastering.  This means we need to busy ourselves with lots of fun stuff like designing album artwork, figuring out the track listing (song order), and oh yeah...naming the album!  The album is so close to being done now, I can smell it.  ...and it smells like awesome rock music!

I guess that's it for now.  In closing, if you're near Baltimore tonight, come hang out with us at Fletcher's (8pm Doors!) and maybe you too can smell the awesome rock music!

Cheers.

Hey,

Just wanted to send a quick thanks to our fans for making last Friday night a great night at Iota, to the point that more folks showed up than could physically fit in the venue. Had a BLAST! Let's do it again soon.

Check out the Behind the Scenes video from our latest photo shoot with the amazing Snapp-Shot Photography team.  Corey and Erin are the best around when it comes to promo and live band photography, and Erin was nice enough to put this video together to commemorate all the fun we have while working with them.  For more of their work (or just to check out what's going on with them) visit their blog at http://snappshotphotography.blogspot.com/

And as always, leave us some comments to let us know what you think of the new pics!

Enjoy.
