Hey Everyone... It's an exciting weekend here! Tonight on KPBS in San Diego a Sneak Peek of the PBS TV special I'm in for Yanni Voices is airing at 6pm and 9pm during a pledge drive for PBS. Just letting you know that my song "Tell Me You Will"(Leslie Mills/Chris Pelcer) is featured in the new movie "My Best Friend's Girl", which opened this weekend in theaters!! The film stars Kate Hudson, Dane Cook, Jason Biggs, and Alec Baldwin. I'm hoping to head to the theaters myself this weekend to see it.. day off tomorrow!! Appreciate your support so much.. A post will follow this one because today is a big day for me.. there's a sneak peek of me in Pbs special tonight.. but more on that in that post!!

I hope you are all enjoying the Holiday season.. It's feeling like Winter in Nashville today...and so close to Christmas that feels about right. I know it's a Winter Wonderland in other parts of the US..so hope you're all keeping warm and safe wherever you are.

I'm excited to announce that I'm part of a new project with Yanni! A few weeks ago, a video posted to Yanni.com and more recently to youtube.com, as an introduction to me and also Nathan Pacheco (a wonderful classical singer) as part of Yanni Voices, an all new project for 2008. Composer/Artist/Producer Yanni has teamed up with Grammy Award winning Producer Ric Wake. I've been recording another new album along with recording for Yanni Voices. I've had the amazing opportunity, and honor, to write lyrics to some of Yanni's well known instrumental music, while also writing and recording all new original songs. In the video, one of the songs I am singing is called "Before the Night Ends" which is from Yanni's "To Take To Hold". A beautiful piece of music. The other clip of music I'm singing is a new original song called "Never Leave The Sun". I'll be posting more about the experience of working with Yanni, and also more about the songs soon.

The new movie Live! starring Eva Mendes features Leslie's music and has opened this November 2007 in theatres in the Netherlands. Was part of the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC, and will also open in France in January of 2008 before coming to the US. Live! is a mockumentary written and directed by Academy Award winning director Bill Guttentag.






Two movies featuring Leslie's music have been out on DVD -

Outlaw Trail featuring Leslie's original song 'Away We'll Ride' with a western feel is featured as the end title track to the movie which is a family film about Butch Cassidy's nephew.



and..

Gray Matters has been out on video, starring Heather Graham and Leslie's "All Kinds Of Love" as the end title track.

How are you??? Hope you're enjoying the fall, it's certainly that time in Nashville! Catching up on some news, so I'll post a couple of entries today. The first which is all about boots, boots, boots, and music... good combination huh??? What am I talking about... well, You By Crocs High Spirit Collection CD of course!

You By Crocs is a new line of boots and funky shoes... youbycrocs.com, and they're giving away as a part of the launch of the new line, a cd compilation of indie female artists. My song 'I Believe In Me' aka 'All Kinds Of Love' (Leslie Mills/Chris Pelcer) is on the cd, which can be picked up in stores where You By Crocs are sold.... "music to soothe your sole" as they say.
