1.0 out of 5 stars The Writer Stand Ins Must Have Gone on Strike Too!, November 16, 2008 By Da BrandoChipper - See all my reviews

Lousy script, terrible acting, predictable, cheese-ball plot, and a silly music soundtrack. This was supposed to be a suspense thriller. Not one shred of suspense to be found in this stinker. Stay away.

(REAL NAME)

The cover of the film says it all. Whereas most semi-decent movies have covers which facus on the faces of the stars involved, this one has a different anatomical feature front and centre.

And what a load of twaddle the content is. An asinine plot with more holes than swiss cheese, clearly where dialogue plays second fiddle to body language, heavy going to set up the plot, it is almost painful to endure.

If one defines escapist as being able to escape reality then this plot is fantastic. No, seriously, this movie has no credibility whatsoever.

By the end, I was laughing hysterically.

Not for serious consideration.

2.0 out of 5 stars eye candy, December 20, 2008 By Legacy - See all my reviews

sort of like Into the Blue. Basically, visual eye candy, the promotion of volleyball, and the beach. Plot is cheesy, motive is not strong, and bad chemistry. Watching without sound would make no difference.

Basic Volleyball Skills
An introduction

From John Thomas, for About.com

Filed In:Volleyball 101 > Basic Skills

If you are just being introduced to the world of volleyball, then there are a number of skills you will need to develop in order to play well. Volleyball is not the type of sport where you can simply apply brute force and succeed. There are a number of skills that may seem slightly unnatural at first. As such, put in the time and practice each of these skills; they each have their own benefits and only when you acquire proficiency in all of them will you be a well-rounded player.

Passing

As the most important skill in volleyball you should devote a lot of time to practicing your passing skills. A good passer makes the rest of the game run smoothly and without one or many, your team will truly struggle.

Hitting

Hitting is the favorite activity for most players. It is fun, exciting, and, if you do it well, will bring you more praise than any other thing on the court.

Setting

Good setting is key if players are to be able to hit the ball effectively. Setting is also a valuable skill to have when passing.

Blocking

A good defensive is the best offense and a strong block can neutralize even the best opposing hitters.

Serving

A well-placed serve can throw an opposing team way off track due to shanked balls or bad passes. Take the time to improve your serving and you will be a valuable to any team.
