My Old Addiction is a new song I recorded recently with my friend Sally Wyatt.  

It's a good thing there's no copyright on song titles too! cos there's a wicked song out there of the same name and happens to be one of my favourites ... still, this is also very apt for my song...

Well, anyway I'll be there strummin my little heart out on Friday (May 30th) at 8.30pm sharp! you'll need to be there by then ... i think it's free to get in, but you have to leave yer name on the door - think about it - you can be anyone!

As for where it is: that's easy - it's a big boat with a gert great light on top by the water in the heart of bloomin Bristol, me luvvers arr!!

If that doesn't help you, it's moored somewhere between the Louisiana & the Ostrich pubs near the centre - Bathurst Basin, Bathurst Parade.

Now don’t get me wrong - I know we’re all here trying to do much the same thing, and that’s ok. MySpace is a tool that requires we make as many friends as possible & get ourselves out there. But here’s something you’ll need to be aware of :

If I add someone as a Friend that’s because I GENUINELY like their music, identify with their ethos or actually know and like them. I’m selective - so if you’ve been selected there’s a reason for that. If you invite me to an event or bulletin about a release or whatever, that’s cool. I do that. And if I like you enough I’ll get the word around.  

However, bands that use their Friend status just to then post MASSIVE comments on my page, to promote some release or gig (unless it’s charitable) are really trying my patience. Find another way. Any band that does this will get their Comment deleted. Do it repeatedly and I’ll embargo you.

Read the comments that are actually there to get an idea of what seems ok to me. My intent is not to offend but if this seems unreasonable to anyone, well just bear in mind this is MY Space and I have the right to define it’s content.
