When my Korg ES-1 stopped making sound last year in march, it prevented me from continuing my live hardware acid set for a good long while.  Then my x0xbOx broke as well.  I got the x0x fixed and tuned, and got a ESX-1 for christmas. So the live acid set is back, and all brand new.
