It's official:  To The Death now has a home on the www!  www.tothedeathband.com is going to be our new little chill out place where we'll keep you guys up to date with our tour dates, new videos, songs, a forum, an online store, and new useless trivia about the band (and quite possibly stuff about nothingness).

Trevor-To The Death

So we bet some of you are wondering what's going on with all the Hot-Topics listed in our upcoming shows. Lo and behold it is a tour of sorts! Yes we're not traveling far, but traveling, up from the belly of Happy Valley to the neck of Salt Lake, nonetheless. And here's the catch:  this will be a series of unplugged sets, designed especially for Hot Topic's "Local Static," a program which showcases local music in-store. Make sure you stop in to your nearest Hot Topic when we come around, you may not see us perform unplugged again for a very long time, if ever. See you all soon!

Two days until we play at The Dreaded Grove in American Fork!! I got to tell you guys, we're excited! Not only do you get to rock out with us for FREE, but you will also have the chance to experience one of Utah's great haunted attractions. They have some great thrill rides alongside their normal walk through experience, that you have to check out; like a zip-line and the "Death Jump" from the top of a 40 ft. telephone pole! All of their proceeds will benefit the Rocky Mountain Candle Lighters, a group that helps families of children with cancer. We want all that can come to hang out with us and go through the woods before we send out our sonic terror later in the evening! We play at 10pm. Take exit 275 in American Fork, head 2 miles west and look for the search lights to guide you there! 

Hey all,
Well, here's a great big THANK YOU to everyone who helped us out by voting on musicnation during the contest. We were really surprised at how great a response you all provided. We had a pretty impressive run that even caught us off guard a little bit. In the end we didn't win, and it's back to the drawing board of working the scene and building things up grassroots style, just like everyone else...and you know what? That's actually just fine. Internet contests are fun, but we're really glad just knowing that we have you all behind us, and we want to thank you for showing us that in such impressive form these past two months.

Now, onward to the future. Some of you have expressed justifiable concern that we appear to not be playing very many shows right now. This has partially been my fault, as lately I've been very busy making a life of being a working musician and I've been playing on a lot of other people's projects, so I can pay the bills. Never fear, there are good things on the horizon. We've been working at trying to find a solution to the booking and management issue that doesn't involve me doing it, so that we won't have to labor under the whole problem of the time crunch anymore, and we're starting to have a few more leads.

Furthermore, in the meantime, Sam and I have moved forward with our co-writing and have finally begun to introduce new material into the line up. We recently started performing our new song Spiral, which is completely unlike anything you have ever heard us do ( true to form), and we are now writing lyrics and rehearsing the instrumental parts in the band for another new song that continues in the direction of mixing metal and pop sensibilities that we started on our currently existent album Best Laid Plans...

So get excited and expect hot, new things when you do see us next!
