hi bloggy blog. we're back in sf and la now. the european tour was great except for when we got there they didn't want to let christelle the tomo understudy in because she has a philipino passport with a greencard. they let her into the uk where we had around 10 shows but not into the rest of europe. she stayed in the uk while mecca and i went and rocked it in the others. in london we stayed at this amazing communal living space with the dopest woman named jo at the helm who's like the british mrs. madrigal but more punk and not so hippy. we met the best people ever everywhere who practically gave us their arms and legs and guts and love. it was tuff at first but at the end i could've gone on and on with it. i dreaded coming back to sf, but it's nice here like the eye of the storm, but more. i visited with parents in palm desert by palm springs all strip mall cineplexy and planned. like comfort food that makes you kind of uncomfortable. goes down good and then nothing, but that's what i need sometimes is a bit of not too much. spent new years at steve hall's and glen's house in joshua tree surrounded by enormous boulders and gwen stefani's hairdresser-he was cool. imperial teen my other band is making a record for merge in late feb. and we're going to sxsw and hopefully hey willpower will play there too. sexy times and whatever makes you happiest to all for the new year. love will

hi-this is will from hey willpower. i don't know what got into me to start a blog, but anyway. i'm here in williamsburg brooklyn drinkin coffee. i've been doing french press and the mug i use is really cool-there is a collage of drawings of women dressed in office attire, on the phone, typing, dictating, etc. and underneath it says "the executive's executive". tomo and i are subletting the place from our friend ginger, and i think it's one of her mugs. it's an endearing little irony and it holds a decent amount of coffee. i love being in ny in alot of ways, but i'm not so great with the freezing cold weather (if you look closely at the ep cover in the chest area, you can see a hardening of a certain area). so band stuff-we finished recording a duet with Annie (Anniemal) of the song "Chewing Gum" which should be released in Jan. or something like that. It sounds pretty hot i think and we'll play it at our shows. Back to the west coast on the 5th of Dec. for a show in SF with Princess Superstar-heard she puts on a great show.
