Last saturday (feb 28) we drove from Ghent to Paris on small old-school (50cc) mopeds.

Each with a small Panasonic camera attached to our helmets we left to play at Social Club (Paris) and shoot images for our upcoming video clip for "My Punk".

We left at 6 in the morning before sunrise hoping to get there on time, because getting there at 40 km/ph would take a loooooong time. The distance we had to go was about 300 km...
Of course these mopeds aren't built to make long distances like this in one time, so we had tech support following us in a van. Good choice because along the road, we had a lot of parts that needed to be replaced.

Somewhere around noon we were right on schedule, and we decided to do something crazy...
We drove into a big supermarket with our mopeds, leaving a lot of people stunned. Too bad we got captured by the security of the store because we couldn't get to the exit on time. Then they called the police on us and took us to a small room inside the building after confiscating our mopeds. When the police arrived they took us to the station for interrogation because the store manager had filed a complaint. We might have to go to court for what we did and pay a big fine. More on this later..

Sadly enough the police erased our images but we managed to take some pictures...
In the last few days we've been trying to recover the images they erased with some recovery software that is used when hard disks die on you. Be sure to look up the video somewhere soon to see if managed to do this...

After being released we continued our road for Paris. Watch out for the video clip to see if we made it...

We'll be uploading some pictures soon in the picture section...

Thanks to everyone involved in this project!!!! We had a great time, and we would do it again anytime...

You can watch the video of our new track now on our myspace. A lot of blood, sweat, tears and hard work lead to this nice piece of art. We want to thank all the people involved for the effort they made.

Here's a small 'making of ' video that JIM made on the day of the shoot. http://jim.be/v7/blogitem.php?id=5647&categoryId=1090
