From the depths of the studio comes this newsletter, as VOYAGER have
barricaded themselves inside KingDom studios with Genius Engineer Adam
Round and are creating their new masterpiece. Drumtracks are now
finished and Mark has done a stellar job. It's sounding HUGE! In the upcoming V-TV episodes, have a look at Mark's ridiculous setup, which includes 20 microphones to
capture it all! Mark used 13 cymbals and 5 different snares for this
album! Overkill? NEVER!

VOYAGER has been nominated for a 2009 WAMi Award under the category of, "Best Hard Rock/Metal Act". Other nominees in this category include our good friends Chaos Divine, Cease and The Devil Rides Out.

This particular category is an Industry Voted Award and the "Best Hard Rock/Metal Act" is presented by Roadrunner Records.

The 2009 WAMi Awards is the W.A. music industrys night of nights, honouring achievement in the music industry and importantly, celebrating! Featuring performances by top WA acts, award presentations and special guests, the 2009 WAMi Awards is hosted by Tex Perkins. The WAMi Awards is presented by WAM - The West Australian Music Industry Association Inc, Edith Cowan University and the City of Perth.

The WAMi Awards night will be held at Metro City, Northbridge on Thursday 7 May, starting at 7:30PM and is open to public! Ticket's are ON SALE NOW from Moshtix so head over to the Moshtix website now and buy your ticket!

VOYAGER is delighted to announce that Chris Hanssen is now an official member of the band. At 17 years of age, Chris has already shown he's
got what it takes and is well above is years in skill and maturity.
